It was just a little surprising that both of the lasagna that came out had black burnt pieces. So they had to be cut off cause that was gross and I didn’t expect that.

Everything Grata does is done well. The menu offers something for everyone. It is not an exaggeration to say that Grata sets the standard for the Windsor food scene.

While my meal was excellent the ambiance was poor. We tried to sit on the patio but there were two different stations/songs playing at the same time and they could not figure out how to turn one off. We went inside and tried to find a somewhat quiet spot to eat but there weren’t any. There was a corner away from the main part of the dining room that was a little better so we sat there. Since there wasn’t anything soft to muffle the sound and the tables were close together it was loud. Even tablecloths would have helped a little, I hope they consider using them in the future. If you don’t mind a loud restaurant you will probably love the food. I got the steak and my husband got the chicken parmesan, both were great.

Server was informative and knowledgeable about the menu with good recommendations. Food came out quickly and with good quality. One of my favorite restaurants to go to and consistently good.

We love this intimate Italian restaurant in our town but my choice tonight was not the best. I chose Seafood Chippino and the crab was not fresh. There was no reason not to have fresh crab with the season beginning this month. My husband enjoyed his meal and we will always come back. Just a little disappointed that my dish wasn’t the normal “out of this world “ delicious.

Awesome meal and a great staff. The rainbow carrot salad is really good. The flourless cheesecake is outstanding.

Highly recommended! We had a wonderful dinner. The food, service, and ambience were exceptional. The pasta was lovely, and the marinara sauce is rich and flavorful. Specialty cocktails were also really interesting. I had a Negroni, which was very tasty. It was a really nice warm, friendly atmosphere, crowded with locals. I definitely think you should go!

The service was ok. It was very busy. Servers are nice. They work hard. The food was tasty overall. I would have liked the baked oysters to have been hot instead of lukewarm. The beet salad was excellent. The ravioli with truffle cream sauce and mushrooms was delightful. My wife enjoyed her spicy shrimp pasta.
