One comes to this restaurant with certain expectations and I must say the staff here does irs level best to meet or exceed them. We had the 7 course tasting menu with the gold level wine pairing and were rewarded with most interesting food creations and wine that accentuated it's uniqueness. Some wines were definitely more appreciated than others, but in total all were exceptional. Each course was peceded by a wine pour with background on its location & creation, followed by the course presentation again with an explanation of contents & preparation. While expensive, the experience is unmatched, and to me worthwhile. My only complaint was the cold draft hitting the back of my neck from the outside door throughout the meal, but hey you have to suffer sometimes to enjoy greatness!

First visit to Grey Sweater and it did not disappoint. Outstanding service and it was a fun dining experience to go in blind on a few of the courses. Made for a fun dining experience. Great water menu as well. Food was excellent. Will definitely be making another trip there in the future.

Fabulous! A lovely dining experience. Of course a high price tag-but worth every penny. We sat at the counter (do it!) and were able to watch the staff delicately prepare the amazing meal. Each course was so delicious, with many layers of flavor… combinations you wouldn’t think of that together created many memorable dishes. And for someone who isn’t wild about dessert, those courses were some of my favorites. In addition, the staff was attentive and kind, unobtrusive but personable. It was a seamless team effort well worth the money for an unforgettable dining experience.

I’ve had the good fortune to dine at many well known and highly respected restaurants. This was as good as most any of them. It was an incredibly well conceived and intentional dining experience. From the color scheme to the dishes to the food - everything was designed to create as ideal of a culinary experience as possible. The food itself ranges from traditional preparations to what has been come to be known as molecular gastronomy. Every dish was perfectly prepared and had something interesting to offer, in addition to being yummy. I would recommend sitting at the chef’s counter. (We originally requested a ‘regular table’ as high seats can be uncomfortable, but thankfully they could move us. It’s a much better experience). We were there for the early seating and were the only two people there for a while. Our meal moved quickly but was not rushed. It was nice having the full attention of the server and staff. We went shortly after Michelin announced its ratings for Texas. I have been to many of the places that received stars. This was as good as any of them and much better than some that received accolades. There are two options - 7 and 10 courses I believe. We had the 10. The 7 isn’t just fewer, but different. So there’s a reason to come back, even though I would be hard pressed to not choose the larger option just from greed and gluttony. Didn’t try the water service. Not sure I could appreciate the differences. We did the wine pairing. Tasty, but honestly (for me) was just a little too much in the belly at the end of the night. Don’t take that as a criticism but as foreknowledge that they were not stingy with their pours. A solid and artful dining experience. No gimmicks. Just well prepared and creative dishes - art and craft manifest in cuisine

Dinner at Grey Sweater was amazing. The food and service was spectacular. We had the 10 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. We sat at the Chef's counter and were able to watch the chefs prepare the dishes. We had house cocktails that were made specifically for our taste. It was a nice personal touch to the experience. They also offer wine pairing and an extensive water menu. We tried a few types of waters and were able to take home the bottles. Overall, I would highly recommend Grey Sweater.

My husband and I came for our anniversary. The 10 course food was delicious. The 7 flight wine was delicious. It was almost 1000.00$ we weren’t full and went to McDonald’s on the way home. We have been to Charlie Trotters back in the day. I have been to Alinea 2x. We were always full when we left. The portions were so small. Instead of 1 bite perhaps they could present 2 bites to make it at least feel like a value. It was special and I want OKC to have artistic restaurants like Gray Sweater. But this place needs to be a bit more generous.
