   We always have a great experience at 3501. While we miss Darius, the bartender still delivered and the food was very tasty - Dad said the cherry almond salad was exceptional. This was a great family celebration meal.

   We are frequent patrons of “3501”. Arrived at 5:00 so not terribly busy. It was the first week of the Spring menu. We had appetizers, soup, bottle of wine and a cocktail. My husband had butchers cut NY strip steak, daughter had scallops and I had the duck breast. All were delicious and all dishes were prepared to our liking and presented beautifully. Unfortunately, our server was less than pleasant, sometimes annoyed with simple requests like lemon for our water and an extra wine glass. Had to asked about soup , specials, and butcher cut. Never received bread. Certainly not treated professionally.

   Third time dining at the Grille: we love the food, always an interesting menu with creative selections. Service was great - attentive but not overwhelming. Ambience was casual but elevated.

   Our group of two couples was seated next to a large table of lively young adults, whose volume was quite distracting. The Lobster Thermidor was disappointing, with little meat and too many shell pieces. However, the Old Fashioned was excellent!

   Great food; server was excellent because it was very crowded. Noise level was up there but not too bad. The Penn State Hockey team was there so we knew that added to the noise but they were very polite. Food was exceptional - the special was something I had never eaten before and it was delicious. My companions said their meals were the same.

   Fantastic experience! Had the Lobster Thermador and the halibut - absolutely amazing! Also enjoyed the fried eggplant, ravioli, and venison carpaccio apps - everything was delicious! As always, the cocktails were spot on and the service was attentive, helpful, and friendly. It does get very loud, but we didn't mind. Definitely recommend this place!

   Another incredible experience from Grille 3501! This restaurant has an exquisite ambiance, it is pleasant, soft and welcoming with a modern day chic. I love everything about it. Our staff this time around was Jordan, our server and Jen, the bartender. Very welcoming, knowledgeable in drinks and seasonal menu. We ordered 4 drinks between the two of us….. All 4 were very good. Blood Orange Martini, The Spice Trade, Mr. Brightside and Manhattan on Broadway. When asked details regarding the drinks, Jen’s expertise doesn’t go unnoticed. Highly recommended. We split 5 appetizers between the two of us and each were so beautifully presented. The flavors amazing but I would expect nothing less from the chefs here. They know their craft very well and it is obvious in each dish. Our appetizers were the Pork Belly, Duck Bao, Truffle Ravioli, Thai Crispy Eggplant and Lobster Hush Puppies. I love being able to taste a variety of their dishes which is why we ordered so many. Well worth doing it this way. Our entrée, we split this as well. We ordered the 50/50 Burger. Always a good choice. For dessert, we chose two. The Warm Butterscotch Cake and the Bee Sting Cake. We weren’t able to completely finish these but the flavors were again, incredible. The Bee Sting Cake really lives up to its name. Loved them both. Our time spent here is beyond a treat, it’s an experience. One that I only share with those who truly appreciate what this restaurant, chefs and staff have to offer. Everything was paced, we did not feel rushed or like our table was meant for someone else. We were attended to by Jordan in a very caring way. The attention to detail begins from the moment we walk in, until the moment we leave. So thank you, for another outstanding experience! Highly recommended and one of my top 5 restaurants ever.
