Ever since our great Aunt Bebe starting selling hamburgers and beer on her back porch during Prohibition, Hackney's has been making people happy!

Today we're famous for our big juicy Hackneyburgers on Hackney's Dark Rye® and our one-of-a-kind Hackney';s Original French Fried Onions®. Prohibition may be over, but our beer selling days are not. Hackney's has an ever-changing list of tap beers along with a full-service bar that can whip up any cocktail you can think of.

    We enjoyed it quite a bit and thought hackneys did a great job considering this was their first year offering an Easter brunch. Only 2 areas of improvement: a little slow to replenish food. When we first arrived, everything was mostly stocked. But 20 min later, a lot of dishes were empty and it seemed like it took them too long to replenish and put things out so your experience may be dependent of when you walked thru the buffet and how much food was out. The second piece of feedback is the dessert table could be stepped up. While the cookies were good, it felt a little lackluster and not a lot of choices. There are a lot of Easter desserts out there that wouldn’t cost much to offer. But we thought the prime rib was pretty solid, sliders were cute, onion rings a must, egg dishes were great. Good sausage and bacon. Only thing that was a total miss was blueberry French toast. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves quite a bit!!! Thanks, hackneys. Oh, and balloon artist and Easter bunny was a nice touch.

    Hackney's on Lake is a family tradition. We've been enjoying good food, excellent service and a sincere welcome for thirty years. Hackney's is a warm and friendly place to enjoy a good meal, family occasions and good fellowship.

    Dinner was great! Burgers, Rubens, and onion loaf cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was pretty loud, which cannot be controlled, understood. The room was warm and muggy which made it uncomfortable. Overall a nice experience.

    First time trying the fish & chips...fair...my husband's was not cooked through. We received an apology and a re-order. Fries were completely different than usual, thin and very good. Fish was bland. Attentive service, warm atmosphere.
