   Wow so much an amazing time spent ! We had Jennifer. She was so sweet and accommodating with our daughter. She made sure we enjoyed our dinner and helped suggest some appetizers. She is a gem and really made our night out special. Food was great and the atmosphere was amazing.. not to loud for kids and played a great selection music in the background

   I’ve had the privilege of dining at Hales many times. It is hands down one of the culinary jewels we are honored and lucky to have in Tampa. I’ve probably had every item on the menu and honestly have a very hard time choosing my favorite. I can say that it has elevated my concept of high end dining but in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. My frequency of visits to this venue speaks to my satisfaction and admiration I have for this restaurant. The dumplings are amazing. They truly are an elevation from the traditional dim sum places. I’ve been to many traditional Chinese dim sum restaurants all over our country and this is the fine dining expression of this type of cuisine. Don’t expect carts wheeling around your table with steamers that uncover unknown menu items. This is a carefully thought and crafted voyage that combines traditional Chinese dim sum with the creative mind of chef Hale; delivering an experience only found here and unique to this restaurant. This is why I bring my out of town friends here always. Needless to say they leave saying that when they return this has to be one of our obligated stops. Their presentation of the Peking Duck is one of the most unique I’ve ever encountered. And, I felt that if I reduce it to words I will misrepresent it and would never be able to accurately describe the marvel of this dish. This, however is a plate to be enjoyed in a group of three to four people due to the generous amount of superbly prepared duck. Their fried rice is a fare that will teach you what fried rice is supposed to be like. Not the msg laden quart sized cartons of a take out restaurant. It is a carefully balanced meal where the aroma of jasmine rice is intertwined with all the ingredients; where the next morning you will never deal with sodium overload. And this is just the physiological explanation of this. It’s hard to explain fried rice and its perfection but if there was anything that ever approached it, this is it.

   Food was wonderful. Dumplings were delicious. Egg roll was just the right portion for two people to share. Bao buns were very cold in the center and we had to send them back. We were delighted to find that they increased the size of their fried rice from the last time we visited. Server was absolutely delightful. We did have to remind her several times about our daughter’s drink order and sweetener for my tea (which never arrived). Over all it was a very nice experience and the staff was lovely.

   Really enjoyed dinner and can’t wait to come back. Ryan our server was incredible and made great suggestions. The rest of the service staff was excellent as well. Refreshing cocktails and the best dumplings and fried rice I’ve ever had. Also do not skip the pork belly and so glad we reserved a duck. It was the best I’ve ever had and if broken up into three dishes including classic Peking Duck and they didn’t skimp on the pancakes. Also the spicy lamb dumplings were amazing. Don’t miss dessert, especially the cheesecake. Michelin star quality meal. Hope he wins one

   Well my Brother recommended the restaurant, he lives in Altamonte Springs fla he visits the restaurant each time he's in town. So for my Anniversary he treated me and hubby to dinner, I must say I was so impressed when I entered into the restaurant. The staff and the atmosphere was just outstanding , I will recommended this restaurant to everyone.
