   Harper's was an absolute homerun. I needed a spot to host a business dinner prior to a night at the Nashville Symphony. Some of my usual go-to restaurants were already booked. Thanks to OpenTable, I found Harper's and saw some great reviews. It was a great experience. We were a party of six and were sat in a perfect, cozy half-circle booth with a view out over the rest of the restaurant. It was a busy night and there was a great buzz through the dining room. Our server, Sydney, did a great job. We followed most of her recommendations and all of them were spot on. We ordered a variety of cocktails but the star of the show was the Birds of Paradise - a play on a Mai Tai. It came out a tiki mug in the shape of a parrot and it tasted great. We ordered several apps to get started: Bang Bang Rock Shrimp, Grilled Slab Bacon, and Beef Wellington Potstickers. All were very tasty and was just enough to serve our party of six. There is a great selection of entrees but we all went with a cut of meat. I had the elk tenderloin by Sydney's recommendation. It was fantastic and a good portion. Two of our guests had the 10oz filet and were very happy with them. The other 3 guests split the 30oz bone-in filet chateaubriand off the large format cut menu which included a table presentation. It was the star of the show and was more than enough for two big guys and a diminutive young woman. The sides were stellar. By far our faves were the crispy brussel sprouts and the bruleed cream corn. The au gratin potatoes were also very good. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert but saw some very great looking sweet plates going out to other tables. Will definitely save time for dessert next time. Service from the host station, bartenders, and our table servers was top notch. Harper's has definitely moved up to the top of my list for entertaining for both business and personal outings, especially in the Downtown and SoBro area. Also, on-site parking garage was very convenient.

   Excellent experience. All of the staff were amazing but particularly our server. She was informative, friendly and super engaging. The food was so good. Everything was excellent. If it was more affordable we would go back there tonight!

   We live in Texas, but whenever we are in Nashville, this is our favorite restaurant! We took three guests with us from South Africa and they were blown away with the New York strip steak. The sides that we ordered are absolutely phenomenal: creamed spinach, fried potatoes, and lobster mac & cheese. I ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was absolutely, by far, the best I have ever had.  Their wine selection is extensive in both red, white and sparkling options. After dinner, we decided to stick around and hang out at the bar. This amounted to yet again, a wonderful evening out at dinner.

   Amazing dining experience! Had a party of 8 and the service was outstanding. Food was great as well. Standouts were the lobster ravioli and the cream brûlée for dessert. Will definitely be back!

   The bang bang shrimp was excellent. Lobster bisque also hit the spot. The Filet was 10/10. absolutely perfect.

   They messed up our order by bringing out our main dish before appetizers. Also told us we had the last two filets? Meanwhile we came in at prime time at 7p, so that doesn’t make sense. They brought out our appetizers while we were also having our dinner, and we didn’t have much room on the table, but they did compensate for it. We felt rushed when it came to finishing our food, I’m thinking we had a new server. It took us 20 minutes for us to get a beer & at that point we already had the check. It was a tasty meal but the service wasn’t the best

   Oh wow. I am so so glad I did my research for great steakhouses in Nashville and found Harper's! I had maybe thee most delicious flavorful steak I've had in a long long time. Our waiter Nick was awesome! We were a party of 4 and we ended up ordering the tomahawk steak for 4. They do a table side presentation where they roll a cart over with the tomahawk and light it on fire! It was incredibly cool to watch! The quality of the steak was perfection. Drinks were great. We got a few delicious sides ...the gratin potatoes, mushrooms with added truffle butter, and a creamed corn that was insanely delicious with a sweet candy type of crust on top of it. If in Nashville go to Harper's! It was a 20 min walk from Broadway but was so cold so we ubered to and from our hotel.

   Food was eh. The attention to our gluten free needs were almost completely ignored. Had to ask for a different waitress. Ours has a bad attitude and gave us inaccurate gluten free information. Service was slow and inadequate. Not worth it if you ask us. I would like to amend my first review to 1 star! Our gluten free diner got sick after eating your supposed gluten free food which when we questioned, you said was not gluten free after she ate some of it. She spent the whole night in the bathroom. You told as that we would receive money off of our bill which we never received! This was the worst experience and I will be disputing the whole amount on my credit card if I am not contacted by someone there to rectify this situation. Diane 631-219-6724

    First time at Harper’s and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing - drinks, appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts were all amazing. The brussel sprouts were the best Brussels I’ve had in my life and the New York strip was sensational. I will recommend this to anyone traveling to Nashville and in need of great food, atmosphere, and service.
