New Year's Eve at Harvest Moon can be summarized in one word: EXCEPTIONAL. There was a pre-fixe with a number of great options: we had the chicken special that was over the best demi glace we had ever tasted. All food was fresh and perfectly prepared (ie. presentation, temperature, timing of various courses and drinks). Despite the restaurant being absolutely packed, the servers and support staff showed a high-level of professionalism, knowledge, kindness and efficiency without seeming hurried. The piano man played with concert-like precision. The Christmas, holiday, and New Year's Even decorations were festive and added to our wonderful early evening dinner. We just read Laura's 1-star comment below. She must have dined at a different place; what she wrote is inconsistent with almost 750 OpenTable respondents' comments. Her star rankings were absurd. They don't have the benefit of being true. Why? The Harvest Moon is world class in all areas. And if there were problems as she laments, the owner is always out among the tables engaging with people and families. Mrs. Novak would have handled Laura's complaints immediately. Thanks, Harvest Moon, for a fantastic New Year's Eve!

We have been here many times before and have not been disappointed. Sitting in the original part of the 1811 building with the fireplace glowing, creates a beautiful atmosphere while enjoying a delicious and creative meal with superior service is a win-win in my book!

While the food was delicious, we felt a bit rushed. While we were supposed to have 2 hrs, we were rushed into 1. By dessert we took it upon ourselves to relax an additional 30 minutes.

The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. We were seated in front of a glowing fireplace for a cozy yet elegant meal. The pianist performing was wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Food took forever. We were not acknowledged through any of it. ..An extra roll would have been nice for the wait. Food was NOT cooked as ordered...way too rare. Had to send back for a longer wait. $150 dinner for two is not something my husband and I usually do but it was our anniversary and we hoped it would have been special. We will not be returning. Good thing our company together was special...I hate to say it but I would have got better service at Longhorn.
