The fish wrapped in banana leaf was our favorite dish - the green sauce on the fish was incredible. The rice that came with it had a good taste but was overcooked. We also had the Piri Piri Hake - the lentils were great, the fish was nice (tho spicy!) but overall lacked depth and taste. The half chicken had a really good juice, but it felt like a whole lot of chicken with very little depth to the rest of the plate and the sauce was so liquidy that it was hard to pick up. The carrots seemed a bit under-cooked. The lobster fried rice was also great. The crunchiness of the tiny fish eggs really gave the plate more life, and the taste made it a great accompaniment to all 3 of the main dishes we ordered. We ordered everything "gluten free" as I am celiac, and the server was very knowledgeable and open to double-checking when she had doubts. Overall the ambience was great (great music, not too loud but awesome vibe for a Friday night), the servers were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and appropriately lit. We will definitely come back!

Terrible food. One chicken dish was deep fried and dry and the other chicken roast with spices was dry and tasteless. Service was ok but wine by the glass was open overnight. Overall not a good experience

We went for New Year's Eve. It was such a nice vibe--all different kinds of people, some dressed up, some not, just everyone being themselves. Drinks, bread basket, hamachi ceviche, pasta and snapper were all amazing. The only thing we didn't love were the scallops. The food overall was creative and the service was great--friendly and helpful. We thought it was very reasonably priced for what we got, and we will go back!

We had a wonderful night at Hav and Mar - we were seated on a high top next to the kitchen which was awesome, seeing the staff at work! The food was so so delicious and the ambience and service was great! We would definitely go back for sure and highly recommend it!!

Wonderfully creative food, mixing Sweden and Ethopia (Swediopia) and other influences. Beautifully prepared fish. Everything was delicious. The black mermaids and mermen decorating the spacious room add to the exotic atmosphere. Service was a little irregular (on a not overly crowded evening) but friendly. Really worth a visit.

The waiters recommendations were phonomenal. Everyone enjoyed starter and meals. The food and drinks were well balanced, unquestionably delicious!! Nice Christmas eve dinner.
