   I was really excited to try Haywire, given the hype, but was disappointed all around. We had a reservation for 5 people and was told they would text us. At the reservation time, I inquired and was told they called out my name (not a text) and seated my party, i.e., they gave my reservation to someone else. They apologized and quickly seated us at a large booth. Given the table size and noise level, it was difficult to have a conversation with everyone in the group. Some of the food on the appetizer platter was cold and the food was overall very average. I've had a more flavorful (and cheaper) chicken fried steak at a local cafe. The waitress was nice but never refilled our water. The water was left on the table so I had to scoot all the way out of our large booth table to pour everyone more water myself...twice. The only positive were the drinks. We won't be going back.

   First impression of the hostess was that she was sort of rude. We were on time for 5:15pm reservation but she told us to be seated instead of taking us to a table right away. Plenty of open tables but it seemed they wanted to chat with each other a bit before seating us. It just felt off to me. Everything else was great! Good cocktails and wine. Their Ceasar salad was great! We had chicken fried chicken and filet with mashed potatoes! Sooo good! Whiskey bread pudding was a great finish to our meal! Our server was attentive and service was great! Would definitely recommend and go back!

   The service was outstanding! One person in our party was gluten free and our server went above and beyond to accommodate. Food, as always, was so delicious.

   New restaurant has great food and ambience. I had issues with the chair being filthy, a water cup being dirty and my cloth napkin was full of white stuff. Besides that I would totally recommend this place.

    Haywire never misses! Absolutely great food, especially the crab dip, and the drinks were all on par as well. Definitely will be making a trip back very soon.
