Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Robert Camacho

From the OpenTable editors: Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace is a sophisticated homage to the celebrity chef’s blockbuster television show, complete with a centerpiece half red, half blue open kitchen. Snag a seat by one of the dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Strip for a feast of signature dishes like beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding in a stylish space that earned the restaurant Eater Las Vegas’s Design of the Year award in 2018.

Food was not all great. The same food is prepared better at his other restaurant like Ramsey Kitchen. Coming here was more for being able to dine at Hell's Kitchen. The salmon was good but disappointed that the skin was not Crispy when it's called Crispy Salmon Skin. Beef Wellington tasted different than I remember from his other restaurant. Scallop and steak tartare were both good as well as his classic toffee sticky pudding.

Wellington was fantastic. Lamb chops were very good. Risotto was ok (lobster itself delicious, I’ve had better risotto though). Service was professional and polite.

Hell’s Kitchen was very touristy and it can’t beat “cafeteria vibes” allegations. I expected a little more decorum from the other guests, but it felt like the Wild West. Service was just ok, had to flag down our server a few times (though it was very busy) and my friend got the wrong appetizer. The food was very good but the Wellington wasn’t everything that I had dreamed it would be. I think the scallops and the sticky toffee pudding outshone the Beef Wellington main on the prix fix menu. My beef was perfect and the puff pastry was tasty, it didn’t stick to the beef, but that was ok- I didn’t get any of the mushroom or cheese in there, just beef and pastry, but it was still great, especially with the gravy borrowed from the tasty potato purée.

My exp my expectations were that for a high-end-restaurant would be a longer experience we were in and out within an hour order received our place eaten and paid which to me for the price you pay you should take a longer time time and more quiet surroundings even though the service was great, and the waitress was super nice thank you.

I had very high expectations for this restaurant but I was let down by the food. I payed a higher price to be seated near the open kitchen experience but was set far away. My wife ordered the beef short ribs with a lobster tail. The short rib was cooked very nice but the added on lobster tail looked like a prawn and was rubbery. I ordered the strip steak cooked medium. The first steak came out rare. It was purple. Of mistakes happen so I sent it back I was told it would take about 8 minutes for a new medium steak. The runner came back with a new steak in 4 minutes. Which was a surprise to me so I ask him did the allow this steak to rest. To which he replied I’m not sure. So when I cut into it was a nice medium rare. Which again was wrong. I didn’t want to send it back again so I kept it. When I cut into it was tough and unseasoned. The overall experience for the food was unsatisfactory for the price. 2.1/2 stars for the food. Wait staff get a 3 since they tried to fix it by reducing the price from $77 to $45 for the steak, and offering to recook the steak a third time by which my wife was almost done with her food. I was quite disappointed.

Wait staff very informative. Sticky toffee pudding was best dessert a I've ever had. Lobster risotto was salty so we were underwhelmed with that. Wellington was AMAZING.
