Hi-Way Harry's offers a "great place for a nice dinner out" with a warm and friendly ambiance, perfect for meet-ups near Madison. While service can be slow, the "soup was OUTSTANDING," and their specials, like steaks and seafood, are recommended. Don't miss the "fabulous carrot cake" and unique flatbreads.

Arrived on time for our reservation but the staff told us they were closed. (the doors were open.) Another party was told the same thing. No apology, nothing offered to make up for it. We won't bother eating here again So we had to find another restaurant at 515 on a Sunday night So much for using Open Table

This is a nice supper club atmosphere. As with most places, wait staff was slow as I believe they don't have enough. The bar tender was young and not experienced enough. Had somebody order a 'black and tan' style beer and she just dumped 2 beers together not even knowing what it was. A supper club needs to be up to par with bar service as most have at least 1 drink at the bar before sitting at your table. 1 out of 4 of us had their dinner burned and the waitress brought it out anyway and tried serving it. It was chicken and it was black so it was sent back. They did right their wrong and bring out new chicken that was done perfect but the rest of us were done by the time it came out. We went on a Friday and they had fish fry as their special; 2 of us had a fish fry and the other shrimp which all came out good. Moral of the story: order what they're good at. Items on their special menu and your general supper club fare of Steaks and Seafood are the way to go. BTW, their soup was OUTSTANDING

The food was just so-so (the french onion soup was inedible I'm afraid, mostly cold under the baked top and way too salty, but my burger was fine), and the wait for our food was quite long. The server explained there were three large groups which I understand adds time, but it also seems like the kind of place that caters to large groups so one would think they should be used to accommodating that in their usual workflow. Also the menu is absolutely overrun with typos/other typography issues which leaves a very poor impression of their quality as an establishment, as this would be an easy fix if they took the time to have it edited.

Extensive hour and 15 minute wait for food. Ran out of baked potatoes at 7:30. Slow service and wait staff couldn’t remember the order. Cold food. Orders didn’t match menu. Grossly under cooked meat. Found hair in food. Second time we’ve eaten here. Terrible both times. Do not waste your money!!

I like this place more every time I go. This time for lunch I ordered the blueberry/chicken/goat cheese flatbread. Unusual flavors but so delicious. Our waitress was the best - we've had her several times before. A great meeting place with friends who live out near the Madison area as we are in Tosa.

Slow service and the food wasn't hot. The waitress never came back to our table to see how the food was once it was served to us.

Terrible Thanksgiving buffet. Food was cold, and bins were empty most of the time. Price was extremely high at $32 a person as evidenced by the small crowd. Will not ever go again.
