Hinnies is a relaxed, warm and friendly neighbourhood restaurant serving the comfort food we all like to eat - rustic and hearty Geordie-influenced classics made properly from scratch using local and seasonal produce to give a real taste of our beloved North East.     Really good Xmas meal and not too expensive. The wine was reasonably priced also. A nice ambience in the room with lots of chatter but not noisy. Nicely decorated also.

    Christmas dinner was cold, but husbands beef casserole was delicious Leek and potato soup was bland. Maybe wrong choice as hubby really enjoyed his Staff, Marie and Michael were fabulous Will return for a different meal

    Second time we’ve been and it was excellent again, had the Christmas menu and really enjoyed and definitely will be another in the new year.

    A warm welcome as we arrived. A creative menu and food cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere.

    5 of us visited for the first time today 18th dec. We had a mixture of meals from the Christmas menu, everything was perfect, the restaurant has a lovely cosy feel and we all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon, we will definitely visit again.

    Could not fault this restaurant Food & service were excellent My only criticism would be a bit too much gravy on my plate for my liking so next time I will ask for small jug
