   We normally like hinterland a lot and took friend for a special occasion. Several of the entrees call for potatoes and the waitress didn’t tell us that the kitchen was out of potatoes until we had made our choices. The kitchen should have devised a suitable alternative, instead we were offered potato chips with $48 steak. The trout (two orders) seemed to be cooked from frozen—really gross. There were also little bugs flying around and the window was filthy so we couldn’t look outside. Further, the seasonal menu is basic compared to previous options.

   Our experience was not as nice as it had been in the past. While we were promptly seated, our server took a while to take our drink and food order. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer which was good and the chorizo/egg plant cream pizza. We were not given time to finish the appetizer before the pizza came. We were disappointed in the flavor of the pizza. Both my wife and I felt the pizza was a bit bland. I tasted some herbs (oregano) but not enough. The sausage wasn't very spicy. Essentially there was nothing giving the pizza much flavor. Finally, while we were still eating, our server brought the bill and said "no rush", but she kept coming back several times to see if we paid and we were still finishing our drinks. Our server was at the table more times after the bill was delivered than she was before that. And then we got home, and I saw an email that my reservation had been cancelled, even though we had checked in. I can only think this was a way to not provide points for this reservation. This isn't the first time this has happened. Maybe the hostesses need more training. We'll still be back since our experience is normally better than this.

   I didn’t receive what I ordered, so they sent it back to be remade. While I waited for the 25 minutes, my family had already finished their meals, and my kids were eager to leave. I decided to ask for the bill, and just as that happened, my comped to-go order was ready. By that point, though, I no longer wanted it.

   Took my family here before a DePere Deacons hockey game. We all LOVED it! Great service. The food was affordable and amazing! Great experience! My son loved the wood-fired pizza. My husband and I tried a couple of their beers and enjoyed them. We will be back.

   Food was cold. I ordered a medium ribeye. It was cold, blue raw and chewy with tons of gristle.

   Having visited last year I was expecting the experience to live up to last year. We saw our food sitting for over 10 minutes for it to be then served cold and the waitresses were no where to be seen for drinks or issues overall a poor experience

   My chicken caesar salad was the worst I have ever had. The chicken was undercooked to the point it wasn't edible, the croutons were stale, and there was barely any dressing. The noodles in the miso stroganoff were also undercooked to the point past "al dente" and they were hard. Service was slow and not friendly.

    First time there and it won’t be our last! Great locally sourced food, a rarity around here. Steak was done perfect and rainbow trout was delicious. Service was good, especially since they were busy. Highly recommended!
