   I wasn't super impressed with the dinner here unfortunately. I called up early to check if we could come at 6pm as our booking was for 5:30pm and the lady on the phone was quick to answer that they were booked out for the night. When we arrived there were hardly any people there until when we left at 6:30pm. The duck pancakes said that they camewith chinese brocolli and instead came with iceberg lettuce and fermented cabbage which wasn't in line with the menu. We ordered a cocktail as a virgin cocktail and were still charged $20 for it even though it didn't have alcohol in it. Usually mocktails are a lot cheaper than cocktails. We had the duck spring rolls and the duck meat was very fatty - more like minced duck with a weird taste. Kung Pow chicken and fried rice were good but not what you would expect for the price you are paying. I saw a lot of positive reviews which is why I was keen to try this place. Would say that the cauliflower was the best out of what we ordered.

   We were greeted with open arms thanks to Fletch!!!! Very attentive service. The food was reasonably priced, not a generous serve, but suited the volume of food presented. The only mishap was that we ordered a bowl of plain rice to have with our meals. We had finished all our meals and the rice was an no show.

   Expected Asian. The chefs were not Asian. The food took a long time. Staff very friendly. Liked the honey lemon prawns. The sizzling steak had no flavour

   Great food, great cocktails, great service. Highly recommend Hizola's! The team went out of their way to make my birthday lunch extra special. We'll be back again.

   Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive, food is very reasonably priced for its high quality. We particularly liked the Pork belly char-sui with apple ginger and the king pao chicken. The restaurant is tucked away from the traffic and it was enjoyable to dine and converse with our guests- sometimes restaurants are too loud. We enjoyed our dining experience and would recommend.

   Excellent meal, just as good as the Burleigh Heads Restraunt. Good selection of food and nice wine, will be back

   Great spot for a catch up with friends after work. Nice wine list, food was great and well priced and service was attentive but relaxed. Highly recommend!

   Despite the waitress nice welcome and wishing me wife a happy birthday she tried to sit us at a table next to a bucket catching dripping water from ceiling. There was plenty other empty tables. Steak sizzling share plare was okay but needed more sauce. The bsos eere okay but also a bit dey. We then waited closevto 40 mins for last dish to come during which time we were ssked on 3 occasions if we wanted dessert so itvwas not known we were atill waiting for a main dish. The shanghainese curry that eventually came was crazy salty almost inedible not pleasant and we barely eat it. Disappointing experience

    Hizola's was a disappointing experience. Food orders were forgotten, leading to long waits. When the food finally arrived, it was merely average, lacking any standout flavors. The ambiance was unbelievably loud, making conversation nearly impossible, while the broken air conditioning left us sweltering in discomfort. Overall, this venue fails to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving us wishing we had chosen elsewhere for a night out. In my opinion, save your time and money—Hizola's is not worth the visit.
