   I thought that I was booking a table down by the windows, but I didn't understand that from the booking.... Buffet was very expensive.. but food was good and plentiful...

   So never being there prior, had no idea on what to expect. We new there was a Christmas season buffet running on Friday's so booked in as a group from work. The venue is what is it s, I guess. To me I can liken it to maybe going to a bingo hall - although I think the bingo hall might have been more festivity and feel more spacious and bright. The space it's self felt drab and dark, and that updates have not been done since it's beginning. I actually felt like we have gone back to the 80's an that people would most likely be taking to lighting up a cigarette just on the flash bac in time. Now the food was good for taste, and did have a decent variety. As for service, it was limited and so there was long waits between. Our server, did acknowledge that there was not enough wait staff on and he was having to run all over. Would I go again, I am going to say no. And pooling the others from work they say the same.

   I booked a table for 4 people, when we got there they said all the lower ground floor tables were booked, so they shoved us up the stairs on a long table where you have to sit in a row hard to chat when sitting in a line rather than opposite, the worst thing was most of the tables on the lower level stay empty for the duration of the night. I did not eat there as the last time I did it was awful food. But saying that they did have the buffet on again which used to be good.

   Great service, place needs a little updating. My chair was broken, tv horse race coverage feed was of poor quality,(blurred). Had to get our own food as buffet didn’t look that great. I did notice the people using buffet were wasting a lot of food as we were across from cleaning station.

   The buffet was terrible. We were a group of 6 and no one thought the food was good. We found out later we could have brought food from another restaurant at the casino and would definitely have preferred that. We do not recommend the buffet. The drinks seemed watered down. The experience of being at the races was a fun night and helped minimize the dining experience.
