Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field.

HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options.

Overall Hopcat is a good value. Hopcat has a bar type menu. Good atmosphere. Good wait staff. The food did not take too long to come out and Hopcat does not break the bank! This is our second year in a row dining there for Valentines Day. Keep up the good work Hopcat!

Delicious food and great service. We had a table upstairs right by the windows, so really enjoyed the ambiance too.

Granted it was a Monday night Lions game, so it was busy, so maybe it was just an off night. The food left a lot to be desired. Burger had had buns and underseasoned. pfries were over cooked, fish and chips were not good and lobster dip was just not good at all. Wings were good Drinks were pretty decent. Service was ok considering the night, took a little bit to get seated and placing orders.

We waited over an hour for our food. The server was decent and the food tasted good but it was cold by the time it came to us.

We had a delicious dinner and Jenny was great! The Bali Bowl, Grilled Cheese was good...the apple slices could have been thinner. We will be back!
