   We had a very nice booth and were able to carry on a conservation. We had a reservation and did not have to wait. Our waiter was very courteous and attentive. We go seldom due to the prices but love to go there to celebrate. Never disappointed!

   Not sure why you need reservations. Waited almost 30 min past our reservations time. Then we had to sit in the bar area. Out of crab cakes and tuna was too spicy w seasoning. Usually I rave about our experience. Very disappointed on this visit. Waiter was very good though.

   We've been going to Houston's Restaurants for more than 25 years. Great consistent food. Grilled chicken salad is my favorite. They modified the Asian salad so you could have beef or fried chicken. That was a good change. They also have a great Au Jus Roast Beef Sandwich. For the first time ever they put the cheese wedges on the menu and charged for them. They've been gratis for years and years. My pet peeve about Houston's is the stupid miniature water glasses. Their executive management has their head up their butt with these glasses. No ice, small, ridiculous. They've done this for years and one must remember to tell the waiter that you want a large glass with ice.

   Was the one of the few times times I've been disappointed at Houston's. Service was slow and inattentive. Started out with one service then another showed up in his place. Food was slow.

   This is a consistently great place for lunch or dinner. I really must compliment the staff and management for how well they take care of their guests and work as a team. The food is always prepared well and there isn't and overly abundant choice of entrees . What you get is their best, always.

   We were traveling and it was my husband's birthday...Houston's is one of his FAVORITE restaurants but we don't have one where we live... so we were so excited to have one in Dallas near where we were staying. Rachel was our server and she was fantastic. Everything was fantastic. We had a perfect meal and a wonderful time.

   We had a good dining experience, but it did not meet our high expectations that Houston's set for us on numerous other occasions. Our main courses were excellent, but two side orders of broccoli were far too salty. One of our side orders was wrong; I pointed it out to our server and eventually she brought the correct side item, skillet beans. When we received our bill, we were charged for an extra side item -- the skillet beans. We pointed out the mistake and the charge was removed. Our main server did not provide the excellent service that we have come to expect at Houston's. She didn't know the soup of the day, messed up one of our orders, and added an extra item to our bill that should not have been included. One of the managers gave us a complimentary piece of pie to compensate us for the mistakes, which was a nice touch. We still have high expectations for Houston's and consider the mistakes to be an anomaly.

   Although a little pricey, the food, service and overall atmosphere is well worth it. Great restaurant and will definitely be back.

    Love this place. It was a little loud because we were sat in the bar. But the food is still fabulous.
