   Service was good. Food was good. Can be very loud. We arrived early (5:30). Good visit with friends. Around 7:00 very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Make sure you ask for prices on “special” drinks…. We were surprised that the special old fashion was $28.

   Absolutely loved being on the river, especially when they rolled over a heater (it was a bit chilly). Food was delicious. The only surprise was when the bill came regarding the waitress-recommended SPECIAL of a martini. It was $21…a bit higher than I would have thought. Next time, I will ask what that SPECIAL costs. So my fault in reality. Otherwise, everything was delicious and ambience was beautiful!!

   Food was very disappointing. Ordered ribs. Waited long and when delivered the food was cold.Brought a new rack and very tough to chew. Food was mediocre at best.

   Hudson’s never disappoints. Beautiful seating outside. Server was very friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.

   Our first time dining here and was very happy with the experience. The ambience is great, right by the water - we were able to watch dolphins frolicking in the river. The drinks were solid, as well as the food. I had the blackened mahi sandwich, which was one of the better ones I’ve had. My wife had the grouper, which she enjoyed also. The service was friendly, but a tad slow. To be fair, the restaurant looked a tad understaffed. Despite a couple lulls where we had to wait a bit, however, overall it was a great experience and would definitely return!

   Restaurant is really nice, recommend sitting on the patio, it has a great views. Food was ok. 2 of us had the seafood risotto, (3 scallops, 4 shrimp, barely notice the crab) and both of us thought the seasoning was way too salty. Worrh 35$ paid $55 Would not recommend unless you love salt. Special was haddock and potatoes soup, both were very good. Strawberry Daquari and Creamsicle were very good as well. The service was great...

   We love Hudson’s on the River. The ambiance cannot be beat with views of the river and the bridge. It’s so relaxing dining patio side. The food has always been on point with delicious options and flavor combinations. And the staff is very friendly and personable. Sara the assistant manager is so sweet and hospitable as well as the Manager, Ben.

   This is a lovely vibrant restaurant on the water with amazing views. A substantial bar crowd which was fine as it was outdoors. The food was excellent - I had the soup special and the grouper and my wife had the clam chowder and the scallops. Only problem was that the kitchen was understaffed and therefore very slow. I was duly impressed that the manager came over to us to explain and apologize and then personally brought us our dinner. We were not complaining and rather just asked our server Mick if he could check on our food. To make it even better the manager then gave us a gift card from the restaurant for $50 and her business card to call her directly next time for a reservation. Now THAT is customer service and appreciation. I was truly amazed by the gesture and the respect shown for a patron's wait time. So we WILL be back.

    The location is great on the water, and the valet parking is free. You can take a stroll on the outer boardwalk after dinner; however, you will notice the noise level inside along with loud club music is tough for dinner conversation indoors, it's freezing inside so bring a jacket. The lights inside are very dim so be prepared to be eating in very low light much less being able to read the menu. Our waitress was great and attentive, and the restaurant is clean. The bathroom is small only two stalls for the whole place so the line can be long when busy. The food was not overly the top as you would imagine, I think some of the dishes are way overpriced. We had the Calamari (It was Ok), Seafood Risotto (Not worth it $$), Parmesan Crusted Grouper (Good), Steak Caribbean (Not worth it $$ thin for ribeye), Spicy Tuna Roll (Good), Seafood Tower (also not worth it $$ the best thing on the tower was the crab and (4) shrimp. The Oysters (4) and lobster tail (1) pathetic.) We received the bill and be prepared that they include 18% service charge to your bill. I guess that's standard practice at this place no matter on the size of your group. We typically tip 20-25% on great service. Overall, I don't think I would return, but I would try other restaurants in the area with the same view and possibly better value and quality on the menu.
