   I enjoyed the experience overall but didn’t like that my friend and I felt rushed. We paid the bill and stayed seated to talk and was greeted by a staff person that stated the next reservation was here and there’s a time limit of how long we can be seated. I was shocked at the delivery and honestly never been rushed out of a restaurant before. My friend and I both drove over an hour to eat there and even patronized the sister restaurant first for drinks. Definitely didn’t appreciate being rushed out

   I've been trying to go to this place for a while since I heard good things about it, but maybe that was because it was new...To start the service was meh, in the beginning, because they may have been understaffed and it was the bartender who took the order after waiting for 15min to be acknowledged...AFTER that delay, she was fantastic...All in all the food wasn't bad, but I expected more for my money...I started with the deviled eggs and I seemed to have gotten a batch that was sitting because the fried shrimp that tops it, was cold, but the bacon jam was delicious, so it made up for it...Then I had the crab and jalapeno pasta, but to me was a waste of money, because I couldn't find jumbo lump crab pieces that were said to be in the meal, just sauce, pasta, and jalapeno slices...I don't know if I would go back, thought the flavors were there, but I expected more than what I got...

   Food is really great!!! However it is a bit unfair to not cater to customers who do not eat pork when it’s a simple adjustment not to put the pork bacon jam on the devil eggs! But otherwise I loved it!

   Our appetizers were served room temperature. The charbroiled oysters were still very slimy and not cooked. I got 2 lemon drops. One passionfruit added and it was great! The other was mango added and it was extremely tart..kinda odd. The cheesesteak eggrolls were very sweet. 20% gratutuity was added for server but we don't feel she deserved that.

   I’ve been wanting to try this place out ever since Chef Tobias first announced its opening. Finally had an opportunity to visit this week and of course he did NOT disappoint.  First of all, I just want to say that the restaurant itself is not huge, but it’s very intimate and it’s designed extremely well. Second, the young ladies at the front are so kind and sweet. They greet you and you can tell they genuinely are happy to be there. The champagne at the door doesn’t hurt either! Lol. Third our server, Shakira, AHHHMAZING!! I truly hope she sees this review and I think she’ll know exactly who posted this. We loved her so much that we tipped her on top of the tip. She made the best recommendations (although everything on the menu looked delicious!). But she was so good at describing the dishes and the flavor that they gave. She was also great at making drink suggestions and we both loved everything that we tried that night. Beyond that, her personality was just giving that girl! She’s sweet and funny too! Fourth, I know that I said that Shakira made great recommendations, but let me break down the dishes that we had. I had the branzino and my best friend had the salmon. For our appetizers, we shared the shrimp, eggrolls, and THE JERK LOLLIPOPS (LAWWWD). Let me tell you that with those jerk lollipops, you really could just get a side of rice and be good! For those dishes to be appetizers, they were such great portions. Also, I could appreciate that for the shrimp appetizer, they gave an even amount so that there wasn’t an extra shrimp lingering around while the people at the table have to figure out who’s going to eat it or heaven forbid, cut it in half 🙄. Fifth, the drinks. Beautiful! Smelled amazing! And the tastes… delicious. They were also well-made. You didn’t feel like you were missing out on the liquor, but it also wasn’t an aggressive flavor. You could actually enjoy the taste and the theme of the drinks.  10/10. GO! You’re welcome.

   We decided to have a nice birthday dinner there and will say it did not disappoint. Huncho house is definitely worth experiencing. The restaurant is a whole vibe. From entering to a lovely hostess greeting, to amazingly prepared dishes. The food is a la carte and I can say that I appreciate the portion size for the price provided. Our table decided on some beginners and sides to share. I will say that the food was quite memorable. The fusion of flavors brought to the table were lovely. I do regret not getting our server/waitress name. She was quite lively and very lovely. She greeted with a lovely smile and gave us the top recommendations, which being our first time was very helpful. Her recommendations were on point, which I do believe any dish we decided would’ve been amazing. I opted for the lamb chops and they were cooked medium with string beans and a cilantro sauce that I loved. We decided to share the dishes, crab macaroni and Cheese and Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were my personal favorite but they are also my favorite food to eat. The flavors were so rich in everything we had. All that to say please do not get full on the food without getting a dessert! We had the vanilla bread pudding and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend going and experiencing Huncho House!!! Love it and will definitely be going back.

    The atmosphere is very conducive to an exceptional dining experience! We celebrated my husband's birthday there and he is still raving about the food and the experience! Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be making a return trip! My husband had the Red Snapper and the presentation was breathtaking. The Snapper was so large that he could only eat a 1/3rd of it. The appetizers that we had were the Huncho deviled eggs and the oysters--mouthwatering GOOD! Anyone looking for a truly unique dining experience must pay Huncho House a visit. Shirley and Victor McCoy
