   The restaurant is beautiful. Our group was family ranging from teen to grandparent age. Huntress may not have been our best choice or we should have requested different seating. Our table at top of stairs on level 2 was like grand central station. We were between the bar, bathrooms, and banquettes on 3 sides. It was incredibly loud and buzzing with servers at all times. We left before dessert because we were weary of the noise. The food was nice enough.

   First time being here and I’d say the service was the best.. our sever was Alex! He explained the menu really well and we opted for “the Tour” basically the 6 courses sampler. I loved almost everything until the steak.. I know I know, kill me but I don’t like gamey pink steak.. and I wasn’t as full as I wanted to be because the portions are small w the sampler. But overall great experience, great service, great drinks, the DJ was popping.. I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5

   The service was excellent. Ambience was great. Cocktails were delicious. The music was extremely loud at our sole corner table. Food was over seasoned, too salty, and was overpriced for what it was.

   What a unique experience for a special event or special person! We had special appetizers in a Huntress box - really cool presentation! Then, a "smoky" cocktail under glass! Topped off finally with a great steak dinner and unique sides. We started at rooftop Lumi for a cocktail, then Huntress for dinner. Atmosphere and service all very classy!

    Have been to Huntress quite a few times over the last 5 years, and it’s always been expensive but great food. This past visit things felt like a mess, and certainly not worth the ~$300/pp that we paid. The service was all very polite and prompt. However the upsell options got tedious quickly, we knew what we wanted and had to decline multiple options repeatedly. Not in line with a fine dining experience. This is a small thing, but the Parker house rolls were terrible. Dry and not warm. Huntress used to have possibly the best bread service in town, this was rough. No fault of the servers, but the wine and spirits list was very out of date. The somm on duty rallied and brought us some options, and we ended up with a good bottle of wine, but it was a very small wine list and options were limited. Likewise with after dinner drinks, we ordered two different spirits and both were out of stock. We took our option, and halfway through the somm brought us a glass of something more similar to our first pick that he had found. He comped the first pour that we had settled for, classy move and well appreciated. Tipped accordingly. Overall not any large issues, however at that price point? Things should have, and have in the past, been perfect. Hopefully this was just an off night. Tough to justify the pricing for an OK experience.
