   Hyde N Chic is nothing short of phenomenal--my new favorite spot in Naples. I had been looking forward to trying their tasting menu for a while, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Chef Andy masterfully weaves flavors from his diverse life experiences, creating a culinary journey where every course is a destination worth savoring. This isn't just a meal; it's an event you'll remember long after the last bite. Just keep in mind - service can run long here. If you're prepared for that and OK with it, you will thoroughly enjoy the experience! The ambiance is trendy, chic, and thoughtfully decorated with stylish art and decor. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and exceptionally prepared. From the moment you walk in, they greet you by name and make you feel like a valued guest. Since I arrived right at opening, Chef Andy even gave me a personal tour of the kitchen, introducing me to his team. His passion for hospitality shines throughout the experience--he stops by tables to share stories, check in on dishes, and ensure every guest has a memorable night. This restaurant is an absolute gem, and if you have the chance to experience it, don't hesitate. Chef Andy and his incredible team deliver an unforgettable dining experience with dishes that showcase standout ingredients, impeccable technique, and flavors that linger in the best way possible.

   We had nine course tasting menu for March which is the best in Naples,Florida when compared to other famous and well known restaurants.Chef offers different tasting menu every month. The tasting menu was better than the three star Michelin restaurant we had in Paris. Every serving of the menu was absolutely delicious. My wife who doesn’t like mushrooms, oysters(complementary),lobster , ate all the items and loved them. The foie grass was superior than a well known French restaurant .

   The food at Hyde N Chic is excellent, but service not so much, it really takes a very long time for each course to come out of the kitchen. Several requests had to be made for napkins on the table and an oyster appetizer that should have had 6, only had 5. These are the small details that need to be fixed if this restaurant wants to stand with the high end restaurants in Naples.

   After hearing rave reviews, we tried Hyde N Chic on a Friday night. The space is small but beautiful with colorful artwork and a cozy, welcoming vibe. We were greeted by the chef when we walked in. Chef Hyde is from Ghana and we looked forward to trying some African cuisine. We started with Oysters Tropical and Key West Shrimp and Gari. The oysters were delicious with a bright tropical mignonette--delicious. Shrimp and Gari is the chef's take on shrimp and grits. Several well cooked shrimp with a lovely sauce made with cassava flour from Ghana instead of grits. More like a stew but very tasty, though also very filling. Next we had Spanish Octopus which was perfectly charred and very tender. The African Spiced Grouper had local Mutton Snapper as a substitute and was beautifully cooked with a tasty English pea risotto. Chef Hyde is very talented and puts his love and passion for food in every dish with lots of creativity. The restaurant is off the beaten path in a small strip mall but well worth seeking out!

   What a fun and delicious experience! Ambience was fantastic, food was delicious and service was excellent. Uniquely perfect. Kudos to Chef Andy and team for a phenomenal experience.

   Absolutely the best chef in all of Naples. His food is a work of art to your taste buds. This place is a true gem. Support this place, we need this beautiful restaurant to get the love back for what quality and creative dishes they serve. We are foodies that love creativity, and I asked my wife where she wanted to go on our anniversary. This was her choice and I’m so glad we celebrated here. Absolutely incredible.

   My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. The food is of the highest quality and prepared so well this is a truly excellent restaurant and we look forward to returning.

    We had a 7:15 PM reservation. We arrived on time and nobody even acknowledged we were there or who we were. It’s a small restaurant and every table was occupied. After 30 minutes they finally gave us a very small sip of champagne free of charge for our wait but yet no table. When I ask how long before a table would be ready for us they had no idea. At 8 PM we asked if we could simply sit at the only two barstools at the countertop that separates the tables from the kitchen and they agreed. This was a prepaid 8 course meal. The first course was the size of a tablespoon. By 9:10 PM we had been served our second course, which was not much larger. Most every table that was there when we arrived was still there although by this time they had given us a two top that was so wide you would have to strain to touch your partners hands by reaching forward. When we once again asked now two hours after our reservation time when we could expect to start getting food, it became obvious that the pace was roughly one of eight courses every half hour which would mean we were looking at eating our dinner around 11 PM or later on a 7:15 PM reservation. The only time in my life I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant that I was already forced to pay for in full the entire meal, having not been served much of anything. We went across the street and ate Mexican food dressed for a fine ding meal before they closed at 10 pm. Note, the Mexican restaurant gave us fabulous attention and prompt service.  the owner never offered to cancel our reservation and refund our money. The only thing they would offer on a Friday evening Valentines night was to say we could come back on Sunday. Never mind what our schedule was or the fact that this was Friday evening and our planned Valentine’s Day special occasion and way past the time where we could’ve found another fine dining restaurant and still make an evening of it
