   Hyde Park is a solid 4 star “B” with several minor issues. The 4 seat booth plus chairs was nice but my wife and I sat on the booth side together which had gaps/ridges in the seat that were uncomfortable. We considered the wine by the glass list to be undistinguished and the bottle prices over priced. The martini was excellent. The lobster bisque was nicely done with adequate lobster pieces but no sherry taste (we were told the lobster itself was marinated in sherry, but Brennen’s, for example, serves a small glass of sherry poured into its bisque which is elegant and to a diner’s choice or not. The 8 oz filets were properly cooked, although the Sander’s version promises lobster, mushrooms, and asparagus in bernaise, and the lobster was a thin slice, just so you know. Oddly the steak knives have a small serrated top but were decidedly dull, our knives at home are much sharper. The filets seemed oddly textured, not as firm as the Angus filets we cut from Costco tenderloins. It was our anniversary dinner and we were served a complimentary shared desert, a nice touch.

   We went during Happy hour. It wasn't crowded, and the value was super! The hits for me were the smoked Old Fashioned and chopped wedge salad. Of course, the steaks were done excellently, but that's what you expect from Hyde Park. We'll be back soon.

   Food and service was excellent. Only complaint was $25 for a margarita is a bit ridiculous.

   The service was phenomenal. Management should be proud of how well this place is run. Had a very relaxing time enjoying amazing food. Steaks were delicious and perfectly prepared. Everything was outstanding.

   This was a birthday dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The service was professional and the dining manager handed out his card and asked if we needed anything to let him know. We had Cabrera, Sanders and I’m unable to recall the third steak name but it was THE BEST dish I had ever seen. My dad ordered it and was a great choice! I only regretted my sanders, since it was covered in a wine sauce that tasted like straight alcohol and I don’t drink at all. The gratin potatoes are fantastic and the garlic spinach WONDERful even the corn was great and I don’t normally eat corn! The small bread and butter was even amazing and a perfect blend of unique breads. One being flat with tons of flavor! I will say the baked potato is just a regular baked potato if you’re considering sharing- I wouldn’t plan on that. Finally- I cannot say enough about the AMAZING DECADENT carrot cake. just WOW. Please try! (It’s gigantic and insanely delicious, especially at home with coffee afterward!)
