Ichi Ni Nana, is a modern style Izakaya experience spread across multiple levels along the iconic Brunswick Street offering delectable Japanese dishes with a modern twist (such as our must try Ebi Mayo). The venue also comprises an amazing beverage list of Japanese inspired cocktails, the best Japan has to offer in sakes and whiskies and a comprehensive wine list covering local and international regions.

The $75 set menu is insane! Such good value for money and everything is delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive, we had Kurtis who was a dream!! Will definitely be coming back !

We had been there before a few years ago and went back to celebrate a birthday. I was surprised to see that the menu had increased substantially. However the food wasn't as good nor were the drinks. The price of the menu had increased substantially too. Overall we were underwelmed with the entire experience.

We were not sure what to expect but from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who was just delightful. Good was superb, staff delightful. Can’t wait to go back

What a great find! It reminded me so much of being back at my favourite restaurant in Kyoto, Japan, Kyoto Engine Ramen! The service was awesome, food was delicious, it was great to have quality Japanese beers on tap and the cocktails are a must try! The maître d’ was very helpful after we ended up going to the old location in St Kilda (based on google maps, make sure you go to 127 Brunswick St, Fitzroy) and so I messaged and said we’d be late and he held our table. So glad he did because we loved it. We’ll be back!

A very rude waitress totally ruined my experience. She gave the impression that she didn’t like the job or the patrons. And she wasn’t even good at her job. She was very inattentive and forgot to bring things she said she would.
