III Forks is an award-winning steakhouse, located on Lavaca Street at Cesar Chavez, in downtown Austin. Considered the Crown Jewel of American Dining, III Forks serves USDA Prime steaks, fresh fish and cold-water lobster. The steakhouse, finished in mahogany and marble, is designed to accommodate private parties of up to 60 guests. We went to a business dinner to celebrate a successful 2024. We were lucky and got Mick for our waiter, who I've had before at III Forks, he's an amazing, charming, funny and very knowledgeable waiter who is incredibly on the ball and attentive. I got the American Wagyu New York Strip with a lobster tail, the steak was absolutely amazing, as was the tail. The wine list is great we had two great bottles of cabernet that Mick helped recommend. Seafood tower to begin was fresh and varied. Sides were on point as well. Without asking Mick brought us out two pieces of cake with "Congratulations" written on the plate, very thoughtful! He also brought us each a shot of Bailey's and Jameson's which was also unasked for but appreciated. Food 100%! Service level 100% above and beyond! I cannot recommend III Forks enough, and hope you're lucky enough to have Mick as your waiter!

Bobby did a great job! He was knowledgeable and attentive. He took care in steering us in the right direction for choices we made. Great birthday celebration for my wife, we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Great dining experience like always. The meat was cooked at perfection. Onion rings were average but the rest was amazing: wedge salad, NY strip, filet mignon and great desserts.
