   Spectacular food, great service, and the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine’s dinner! The black truffle sausage rigatoni was absolutely INCREDIBLE and loved the NA options for drinks as well. A little bit on the pricier side but well worth it for a special occasion! We will be back!

   The food wasn’t as great as the first time I went. I don’t particularly love sitting so close to others as it doesn’t feel as intimate.

   Have to have a better system of booking and seating tables. Every seating time was backed up. It really made the beginning stressful. Perhaps more servers to move tables. A heated tent for those who are waiting so they don't stand in the doorway starring at those seated.

   After arriving early, we still had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation to get seated. This is the 2nd time this has happened. They need to get the reservations system figured out. Our server was nice but may have had too many tables? She didn’t take our order for a longtime, didn’t clear empty glasses, didn’t provide more water, didn’t stop by to check on us,…etc.

   First off, this is the hottest restaurant I've ever been to...as in temperature. Very uncomfortable. I arrived 10 minutes early and barely made the reservation, thanks to a very chaotic parking lot and extremely limited space. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance and requested a quieter table, preferably in a corner away from the kitchen. We were sat dead center of the restaurant with a view of glaring fluorescent lights and sweltering heat of the open cooking area. Not ideal. The hostess and wait staff were less than enthusiastic on a bustling Friday night and the cocktails were subpar, watered down, and not worth the wait. I think they forgot the Mezcal in one of their signature cocktails, "The Mezcal." I could've also done without the two flatscreens over the bar: one playing back to back episodes of Paw Patrol, the other a frozen image of Greenland...now THAT'S Italian! The appetizers and pastas were lackluster, as was the service, and the night was a disappointment. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night and ordered the wrong food?

    So disappointing, I’ve been to this restaurant a few times in the past and enjoyed it. This time was different: - the food was cold, arancini was dropped on our table almost immediately as well as the Lola salad and both the fried arancini and friend burrata on the salad were cool to the touch inside. - my guest and I were chatting and in no hurry but when asked if the server would take their time and not rush the meal we were told that the kitchen was closing and the food was already being prepared, this was 7 pm on a Sunday night. - the lasagna arrived and the top layer was clearly burnt, or had been held under the warmer too long and the dusted with a layer of Parmesan cheese, my guest was kinder than I saying that he enjoyed it but when I had a taste the lasagna wasn’t even hot, it was less than warm. - we also ordered the St Gabrielle pizza and to our surprise it had a blob of cold mozzarella in the center surrounded by a bed of cold arugula. The pizza dough was warm but the toppings felt like they’d just been taken out of the walk-in refrigerator. - about half way through our meal a worker started putting the chairs on top of the tables. It was 8:30 pm on a Sunday night and there were two tables still eating and a couple at the bar. When we finally finished our meal we were sitting in a room full of chair legs on tables. It was ridiculous. I have never been rushed out of a restaurant so fast. - I’m just disappointed. There are too many restaurant options in Nashville these days, too many choices to be served sub par food and service.
