   Not a good recent experience, waited over a hour for dinner to be served and when it was finally served it was cold. With no server to be found to assist

   I ordered the app special, fried tomatoes with mozzarella. It was soooooo good. The breading on the tomatoes was so perfectly crisp and encased the tomato perfectly. There was a delicious tomato based sauce with it that was to die for. Next time I will get just 2 orders of the tomatoes and no entree. However, the lamb shank and papperadelle special was delightful. The shank was large and meaty and that tomato sauce was also delicious. My husband had the chicken scarapieta, chicken with sausage and hot peppers. He loved it. Il Posto is BYO so that does help to keep the bill down. Our server, Erol, was friendly and efficient. He has waited on us before. He’s very good, as are the other staff. The dining rooms were full, but it was not too noisy. It’s always a pleasant meal at Il Posto.

   We love this place. One of the few options for an off season weekend. Always happy with the food and service.

   We loved it here. Nicer to sit in the main/middle dining room. The dining room past the main dining room felt like we were sitting in a pizzeria but they gladly changed our seats to the main dining room. Hostess was very nice. It was busy for off season. It took a little while for our waiter to come back to our table to take our order and a bit longer to receive our food. Our waiter took one of our orders wrong and served 2 different appetizers, that were incorrect, so we then told him what we had ordered and, he not so politely told us we were wrong! Knowing that we definitely didn’t eat the wrong appetizers that he tried to serve us we had to insist that we ordered the grilled calamari…. At that point dinner was almost served, so I very politely asked him to cancel that appetizer. Not 5 seconds later he walks over to the table with the appetizer, which I politely declined. Needless to say he was not very happy. So then we waited another 20 minutes to be served dinner!! The dinners were all delicious, everyone was happy with their food. We will try here again, just hopefully, we’ll have a server without an attitude.

   Valentine dinner. But the staff was upbeat and the food hot, fresh and delicious. Out server Zooey was attentive and welcoming without hovering. We have eaten at all the restaurants in the group. We found our favorite.

   Food was delicious! Service was excellent and even though we were there for Valentines Day, we were not rushed at all.
