Delicious, authentic Italian food that was delicious and felt very homely. Loved the ambience and vibe of the restaurant- it was intimate and warm. The staff were very friendly also

A Melbourne institution. Geared to business lunches during the day and general dining in the evening. The food is excellent - great choices, well-executed, good serving sizes, and fairly priced. The wine list is extensive, with many choices across the price range. An inviting ambience for lunch: busy and animated, but not too loud.

Over the last twenty or so years l have been too il solito whenever l have been in Melbourne for pleasure or business The restaurant has never failed to impress and deliver an exceptional dining experience for me it’s a lot like being in Rome, Milan or many other welcoming places off the beaten path. I have recommended it to many friends over time and the feedback has always been excellent

The birthday dinner last night was one of my memorable and happy moments in my life. The service at the Il Solito Posto was attentive and professional. The restaurant served me a special dessert for my 71st birthday. I was so well touched and overwhelmed by their kind thoughts. Thank you so much. I will dine again with my Melbourne family.
