Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

    Went there with my wife i had SHRIMP LOBSTER RISOTTO to die for,their tomatoe SAUCE is the best that i ever tried it, Service food ambience something that we didn’t see in Westchester Big up for you guys

    We went there Saturday night was packed Big portions , great value, the best price for the value that they gave you A very attentive service Can’t wait to be back

    From the start, they rushed us to order, rush the food and rush, bringing us the check. Then the food had a huge hair in it and instead of immediately saying, can I get you something else was sorry we’ll take it off the bill. They tried to force us to take a new plate because that’s all they wanted to do was replace it.

    The staff was lovely and very helpful especially in regards to questions about allergies and ingredients. The food was delicious. The noise level is quite high .

    Il Sorrento is a welcome addition to Central Park Avenue , in the Scarsdale area, as it offers fine Italian dining, while the others are mainly fast food establishments or Take-out.
