   We had the wood fired turnips and little gem salad for appetizers and the pork chop and tortelli for our main dishes. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed it with a delicious bottle of Nebbiolo. Our server, Fawn, was outstanding!! Attentive and impeccable service! Highly recommend!

   The food was great and server outstanding. However, we had made 3 separate reservations a month ago to accommodate 12. The hostess was very unfriendly and unable to seat our party together even though I wrote a few days prior to ask if we could sit in close proximity. She called me early in Saturday, the day of even to tell me she could sit us outdoors, which we did not want to bc we had children and wanted to be indoors. When we arrived she sat us in different tables all over the restaurant. She said that was the best she could do. Then I noticed a table next to one she sat us towards the back had an empty table so I asked someone else and they were kind enough to sit 2 of our 3 tables in closer proximity. She was just not kind nor friendly.

It can be extremely difficult with the flow of service to accommodate three separate reservations near one another in our inside dining room; I spoke with our host and she expressed her apologies and was truly trying to provide solutions to avoid any disappointment upon your arrival.    Absolutely wonderful meal! Meatballs and roasted turnip appetizers were perfect, tagliatelle and agnolotti were to die for. Budino and zeppole rounded out the meal. Didn’t get pizza but will be back.

   Indaco is a pasta lover’s dream come true! From start to finish, our meal was nothing short of exceptional. We began with the Caesar salad, which might just be the best Caesar I’ve ever had. Instead of the usual croutons, they used delicate crumbles of heaven that elevated every bite. It was so good, we ordered a second one before our pasta even arrived! The pasta dishes were equally outstanding. The tortellini and the black pepper tagliatelle (their incredible take on carbonara) were both cooked to perfection, with flavors that were rich, balanced, and utterly delicious. Each bite showcased the care and skill that goes into their pasta-making. Although we didn’t try the pizzas, we saw them being served to other tables, and they looked absolutely beautiful—definitely something to try on a future visit. To finish, we indulged in the classic tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Indaco is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates expertly crafted Italian cuisine. If you’re in Charleston, don’t miss it!
