About this restaurant

Injera serves Ethiopian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere with background music to complete the ambience. The menu is simple but perfected. Start with a Yetimatim salad or a yetimatim fitfit before moving on to the main dishes. Vegetarians can enjoy the misir wot, which is lentils cooked in a berbere sauce with garlic and onions or the shiro, a bowl of spiced and blended split peas that have been cooked in olive oil and garlic. Injera also serves the chicken doro wot and doro tibs, as well as beef awase tibs and the beef kitfo made with minced cuts of filet mignon kneaded in butter and served with a helping of cottage cheese mixed with collard greens. Lamb dishes at Injera include yebeg tibs, which is marinated lamb cubes that have been sautéed with tomatoes, onions, and peppers or the beg alicha, which is a lamb stew.
