    We frequent Irish Times while in season. The food is very good the beer selection is very good and the service is always good. What I have noticed time and time again, is the hostess desk. Clearly that large structure means it’s important. Every single time we check in, however, we don’t feel rather important. We usually get placed at a table where one of the two of us is facing a wall, off to the front side, and away from the ambiance. I guess that is fine….it would be preferred to feel valued as the paying customer in some way. Service is not my industry so perhaps I cannot label what could be modified. Otherwise we truly enjoy the food and the live music at Irish Times.

    Our server Julie was awesome, attentive and fast. The atmosphere is really great, dim lights at night and live music. The food....well, the appetizers were really good but our entrees were mediocre. There were 7 of us and everyone felt the same. I will definitely go back for apps, drinks and sports (great amount of TVs) but probably will skip the entree portion of the trip.

    The noise level was very loud. There was a live trivia game and football on TV, that made it very difficult to talk. The food and service was good.

    We arrived during Trivia Night and then Andy Wahlburg and his Harp Guitar came on and he was wonderful! Calamari & Bangers n Mash were awesome!

    Great menu selections. Lovely and interesting atmosphere. Unfortunately, while very tasty, nicely prepared and presented, the food arrived just barely warm. Our server was terribly busy and thus inattentive. We were never offered a second drink nor did she check on the delivery of our order. The pub quiz going at dinner (6 pm) made it impossible to hear across the table. It would be more suited to later in the evening.

    Wonderful food and service. Did not realize there was a band and brought visiting family intending to catch up, and after explaining the owner moved us outdoors without a second thought!. Typically love live entertainment, so felt terrible to move. Excellent as always, grateful we were treated so well.
