   Iron Duck lives up to its promise of excellent American comfort food, but the rushed service detracts from the experience. Dishes arrive so quickly that the next one is served before the current course is finished. With better pacing, Iron Duck could offer one of the best dining experiences in the area.

   Iron Duck is one of our favorite restaurants! Every time we have been here we have had great food and service. Tonight was no different - We started out with a beer (they have a great selection!) and a glass of wine. For dinner, I had the lamb burger (SO good!) and my husband had the Smoked Pastrami Reuben (he loved it!). The people who seated us were very friendly and our server was great - pleasant and attentive. Already looking forward to our next dinner here!

   I was disappointed in a few matters. I had the Salmon and that and the balance of my meal was over-cooked. The cheese curds I also ordered were more fried "breading" then cheese. Additionally, two fees included on my invoice without any notification from staff or signage in the restaurant included a mandated "Service Charge" of 20% and a "Credit Card Surcharge" of 2.86%. I assume the service charge was the tip. We also had a few drinks at the bar prior to our meal and I completely missed these two charges and mistakenly provided an "additional tip." These pandemic initiated charges are unnecessary and perpetuate gouging the retail customer. And I typically tip no less than 25%/30% because I really do appreciate service staff and bartenders who without them, we wouldn't be able to dine. Increase the price of your meals and drop the credit card charges. With all the options, varieties of food and opportunities to dine, I won't be back to the Iron Duck Restaurant.

Both of the charges mentioned are stated on the menu. The “Service Charge” is only for limited and special menus (holidays, events, etc.) and not day to day. This ensures that we are able to provide the best service possible for your visit. A Credit Card Surcharge is more common than not in the restaurant industry, especially in the last several years. You may find it to be a common practice in the majority of restaurants locally and abroad. We would like to note that this is only for credit cards, and that debit cards are not subject to this charge! Thank you for your review, and we hope to earn your patronage again!

   Everything was great besides that they did not have the red blend available and instead tried the Cabernet! Evi, if that is spelt correctly, was amazing

   Camryn was our server and they were wonderful. Food and cocktails were great. Blown away by the accommodations with my mom’s food allergies - creating her a menu made her experience so much more enjoyable. Can’t say enough good things about the entire evening.

   New Year's Eve splurge. Service was fantastic - thank you Evie! Food was beautifully presented. Tried small plate "tots" along with strip steaks, salmon and fettuccine. Taste was good. Some portions seemed small despite all the prices being big! Glad we went but due to cost and portions, we won't be visiting regularly.

   We always enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere. Having Celiacs on the family, it is also nice to come to a place that has so many Gluten free offerings.
