   We were there during the SC Women’s basketball game and it was loud and extremely fun!!! Great place to watch the game!!

   The food was just ok, it’s a brew pub and they didn’t have one of the beers I requested. A waiter picked a French fry off a plate and ate it and carried a handful of fries in his bare hands into the dining room. Just wasn’t worth the money and the whole experience was quite disappointing.

   Knowledgeable attentive server who knew all the promotions. Nice visit with Lois, the manager. Appreciate the promotions for different reasons & the King of the Hill specials.

   This was our second visit. The first visit was amazing. This time, though, they reduced their menu back to only a handful of items. The waitress was short and snippy. I asked for Parmesan cheese for my dinner. She said they don’t have any. I just ate Parmesan cheese on my Caesar salad. Seemed more she didn’t want to be bothered. Bad service happens. But based on the menu cuts and current selection, this one is off our list.

   This was an incredible place. There was a great menu very versatile. Fish and chips, burger, and fish tacos were outstanding. Beer was great and loved the atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but everything else was worth the wait.

    The evening started out fine. Drinks and appetizers were delivered quickly and were delicious. Then it all went downhill from there. The waitress never checked on us and once we finished our appetizers and beverages, we sat there for over 10 minutes. The waitress was nowhere to be found. Finally she brought our food and attempted to set my husband’s meal on top of the dirty appetizer plates instead of clearing them. I asked her if we had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and she said “I was waiting for your food to be done.” Isn’t the first rule in food service to keep your customers happy by checking in and offering more drinks? That’s how they can get better tips! She walked away and my husband touched his burger bun only to discover that it was hard as a rock. It had been sitting under a heat lamp way too long. I walked over to another server to ask for a manager and when the manager came and we explained the problems, she barely spoke to us. I told her we wanted to leave and she said “ok”. This was so disappointing because we’ve had good experiences in the past. Not a good way to celebrate your wedding anniversary.
