I made a reservation online and asked for standard seating. When we arrived, we were offered a high top table and they said all the standard tables were full. I stated that I had specifically asked for a standard table because I have a metal rod in my leg and am uncomfortable at high top tables. I was told my request did not go through, and I would need to take a higher table or wait. There were plenty of open tables but they said they were short on staff. Finally got the requested table. Food was ok. Service was slow.

A crowded Friday night, and service was surprisingly efficient. The food is spicier than I expected (schnitzel and pasta), but was prepared well. The parking lot is small and was full. There’s free parking (unless there’s a special event) in the garage nearby though. We will be back.

Iron Hill is a consistent “go to” when we are visiting Columbia and the University. The food is always outstanding and the variety of options on the menu is fantastic. Great beer selections from their own brewing. A must when you are in town.

Food was a 7-5/10. Enjoyed the biscuit queso. Burger was good. Wife thought pizza was mid. Beers are good but spirit drinks are mid. Glad we had a reservation. We only waited maybe 3-4 minutes and we were seated. A lot of others in line. The service was the kicker. Took us 15 minutes to get a server after seating. Then about 20 minutes for drinks. I experience was about 1 Hour 40 minutes, very long. Glad we had a reservation. Will go back but hope to have better waiting service. Again, only drink the beers. The cocktails are not worth it.
