   Very kind staff starting from entrance…..great options on the menu presented beautifully and SO delicious. Peaceful, friendly atmosphere.

   I hadn't been here in a while so when out of town guests were coming I made reservations. I had the grilled salmon salad and it was absolutely delicious. My companions had the fish tacos and a burger. There wasn't a bite left on any of our plates. Server was great too.

   My family and I truly enjoyed the food, our waitress was Amazing. There need to be a sign posted at the front door, if you are racist not to dine because my daughter went to the rest room and a woman stated it’s a “N” in that stall but because of how I was raised and how I raised my children she was spared. But one ignorant person don’t stop good food and a really nice restaurant. People need to educate themselves more.

   Everything was great except the main dishes were not good. My wife burger looked raw inside and had to be replaced even though she ordered it well done. The crab cake sandwich was nothing special.

   I made reservations weeks back, we arrived 15 minutes early which they said they couldn't seat us until 6 which was fine so we went to the bar and order a drink which the bartenders were very friendly and greeted you with a smile and asked what we wanted, checked on us twice before cashing out 15 minutes later when our table was ready at 6. Once seated the waiter who's name was Nate noticed that my husband and I had gotten a beer from the bar and proceeded to ask the other two we were with what they wanted, didn't ask if we would like anything else I had to stop him before walking away for a water and to also order our appetizer. The appetizer came out at least 20 minutes later, which someone else brought us that and the waiter never came back to take our dinner order. We waited 45 minutes before the manager came over to ask how everything was going which we proceeded to inform her of the situation. So she took our order which the waiter then noticed she was at our table and asked if we needed anything. 35 minutes went by still not food. our drinks are empty and the waiter never came back over to ask if we wanted refills but he walked by our table numerous time. It should not be the customers responsibly to waiver down the water to ask for more water. Once our food came out, it was warm but tasted good. This was our first time here and will not be going back. Horrible experience. What took two hours should have only taken an hour. As others came in were seated ordered eat and left while we sat there. I have been to other restaurants that were even more packed and busy and didn't take that long to get service, our food and leave.

   We had a 6 pm reservation. We didn’t get seated until 6:30. We didn’t get our food until 7:20. It was frustrating. What good is a reservation if we had to wait so long?

   We’ve been to Iron Hill many times and was always great but tonight was a different story. First was a little more than an hour before food started coming out. Not everyone got their food at the same time and some was missing part of their meals. Two meals were missing fries (sweet potato) and we had to ask for them and when they finally came they were all burnt! Of those meals both burgers were missing some of the toppings. I also had to ask our waitress to comp my meal which she should have done that for the 2 meals.

    I have a gluten allergy and they were very knowledgeable about what items I could have modified for gluten free. Large list of drinks and hop-tails (mocktails). Great food and service. Don’t miss out on the creme brûlée, it was excellent!
