   Kitchen was very busy due to Mother’s Day. Took over an hour to get served main course. Service was then slower bc of it.

   Vanessa was our server. She was not friendly at all, never once smiled, it was Mother's Day, even if you did not want to work, be nice to someone else who might be a mother. She never asked if we wanted more to drink, or desert, never asked how our meal was until after we ate. If she came over to check on us, she ran away faster than we could even answer her, what's the point in that? The cheesesteak eggrolls are an appetizer, they should come before our meal, instead the Brussel sprouts came before. The cheesesteak eggrolls used to be really big and packed, now they look like spring rolls instead of eggrolls. Just seems like things are going downhill much too fast, even though things are really pricey. The manager (tight purple shirt) did come by and offer us a $10 gift card for our next visit. I was hoping for Mother's Day that things would have been a bit more perfect.

   We were told that Mother’s Day is your busiest day of the year. More staff was needed - we waited a really long time for our food and almost missed our show despite scheduling extra time. Despite the stress on the limit staff. Everyone was pleasant.

   This is probably the third time we’ve come here for Mother’s Day. The food is always fine, the service is usually really slow. I should’ve known by now not to come here on Mother’s Day. It took us about 45 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered and we all ordered burgers or sandwiches. I can understand it’s a very busy time, but our server didn’t even check on us very frequently our drinks were unfilled for quite extended periods of time. At least in the past, even when the food was slow, the service was attentive as best it could be.

   We went for lunch for Mother's Day. It was busy, which we expected, but we waited an hour for our food. Although apologetic, if you know it's one of your busiest days of the year you need to plan for it. I ordered one of the eggs benedict. One side was completely cooked through and the english muffin was hard as a rock. The other side was fine. The food was good overall but it was way too long to wait and our server also wasn't very attentive. I would not return on a special occasion.

   We ordered coffee and orange juice, he told us they didn’t have coffee cups and that they were being cleaned . Wait. What? Mind you the restaurant was half full and then proceeded to ask us, “did we want the coffee and OJ mixed together?” Wait. What?! The pancakes were burnt, not just a little but allot. The place is not properly managed. NO way should a restaurant NOT have coffee cups on Mother’s Day brunch.

   The food was not quite your basic breakfast/brunch selection but tasted good. My meal didn’t come as I had requested but they were quick to correct it. Our waiter was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We’ll be back again.
