   alexis was amazing!!! her energy made our 4 year dating anniversary super special! everyone who passed by our table made sure that we were at home. thank you all so much management, bar staff, chefs and of course Alexis for making our night a special one. we did indeed get a food coma, but it was totally worth it! thank you all so much for the extra gifts and the n/a wine provided for us before dinner. love you guys!

   We had a 6:30 PM reservation on a Friday night. We were seated on time, but  quickly forgotten about. We received menus and water when seated, but we didn’t hear from any other wait staff for another 20 minutes.  at that point, the sommelier came over and explained the menu as we had not been to this restaurant before. The restaurant offers a tasting menu that consists of four courses and four different wines from Texas. When our waiter finally did show up, we asked him what options were available for me with the tasting menu since I don’t drink. He said he would check on that and let us know. He returned about 10 minutes later asking if we had made any decisions. Of course, we then sent him away again to find an answer to our original question. The answer was that there are no options, if you don’t drink you just have to pay for the wine anyway. We decided to order the tasting menu anyway. In the end, it took about an hour before we had any food on our table. The food was good and seemed to give a fair representation of the menu. We will probably return, but if the service is as bad as it was on our first visit, we will not be making any more visits.

   The Beef Denver was very tender. The sauce on the 12 ounce wagu beef was also delicious, as was the popcorn chicken. The servers were polite but we were there for an hour and a half before we got our main course.

   The apps were small and our steaks were delicious. Our one complaint is when we did receive our bill we could not believe they charged us $12 for our bread and butter. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they charged you for bread!

   Start to finish a wonderful evening. Our meal was as good as anywhere in town. Service was top notch. The menu is for sharing and the porterhouse was the star of the show.

   I have had dinner here twice this week, and am absolutely astounded by the quality of the food, the imagination and care that goes into every dish, and the wonderful and personal service. In the city of so many great restaurants, this one is as good as it gets.

   Much improved service! Kitchen is outstanding ! ON par with Deans and other premier boutique experiences in town Music is loud but staff also couldn’t hear and turned volume down
