   Nothing but positives to say about this gem of a place. Come here immediately! The waiter recognized me the last time I was here and gave me a free wine to welcome me back. Now that’s service!

   The food and drink was priced pretty high for what was more like bar food. But the view is amazing and a good spot to hangout and drink, but not for dining.

   Made reservations, but did not need them. I think weather kept many from going. If it is raining and no seats around bar area you will get wet. Even in some areas around the bar area you will get wet. Food was good.

   This is an open air restaurant over looking lower Manhattan and NY Harbor. Magnificent views. Loud and young drinking crowd. Food selection limited and fair. Gin was limited to one well brand. Requested the same beer each time but was always served something different. This place is a party with views.

   Loved Island Oyster. Was seated with a view of the Manhattan skyline. Beautiful. 2 people in my group arrived 30 minutes late but my server did not rush us or make a fuss. Food and drinks were delish. Would definitely return to the restaurant and see more of the island

   Great food. Service was slow but servers were kind and tried hard. I think they were short staffed Saturday night. View is gorgeous. They only had one bottle of red wine so that needs to be remedied. The manager was helpful with our issues of slow service and wine. Did I say the good was delicious ?! It was!! Being in governors island for sunset is such a fabulous experience.

   Service could have been better, maybe they were understaffed, didn’t serve us with water at first, waited about 15 minutes for water, the waiter barely checked on us, service was quite disappointing but the food was great.
