   Wow! Best Italian I've ever eaten. A little on the pricey side for us, and diners should know that "appropriate attire" is required. We went for dinner, so the ocean view was less noticeable. If we'd gone at lunch, it would have been a spectacular view. It's a little difficult to find - on the sixth floor of the Holiday Inn, and the entrance is near the valet stand, not the hotel lobby. But it's definitely worth the hunt. We were blown away by the food. It was simply exceptional. My husband had the salmon, which he tends to get at most restaurants, and this was the best he's had. I had the veal caprese, and the sauce was so amazing I wanted to lick the plate clean. For a special treat, we'd definitely go again.

   I was very disappointed with my dining experience this time around. I have eaten at Isle of Capri several times and after this last time, I am certain I will not rush back. The service was a complete let down. Our server was disinterested and did not make anyone in my party feel valued or appreciated for choosing to spend our evening and money at this restaurant. He was totally disconnected and matter of fact in his responses. The Caesar salad, which was once my favorite, was very lack luster and was basically some moist lettuce on a plate with croutons. I ordered a shrimp dish with a tomato cream sauce and my shrimp had such a fishy taste that I could not eat the dish and sent it back ultimately not eating anything for the main course. I wish my experience would have been what I expected and anticipated.

   Chicken toscano was excellent! Drinks were good. Had a shrimp in a bourbon cream sauce appetizer that was delicious.

   The view and our table was amazing! It was very busy and our service was decent. The table side salad was one of the reasons I brought my date there and the presentation of it was a bit disappointing. Her meal was delicious and the salad was so good as well as the bread! We will def be back but maybe on a night where it’s not so busy.

   This place is always great! The food is delicious and good sized portions. The she crab soup was amazing. We are definitely coming again and again.

   My wife and I celebrate her Birthday here every year. The Veal Chop and Filet are always perfectly cooked and delicious! The table side Caesar is what starts our meal with some nice wine selections. Don't forget dessert! The Tiramisu is just like the ones I ate in Italy!

   Loved our dinner! I had the veal piccatta, which was really good & my husband, a pasta dish. The view is really special and the atmosphere really nice. Great evening!!

   We celebrated our wedding anniversary and usually do at Isle of Capri because of the romantic ambiance, delicious food, exceptional service and incredible oceanfront view! We started with hot bread and butter and a shared bowl of creamy crab soup, lightly dusted with Old Bay and it did not disappoint! Bobby enjoyed the Chicken Florentine which had a fresh tomato sauce and just the right amount of spinach and cheese! He finished the whole dish even though it was a large portion! I totally enjoyed the Flounder Francese! Two hearty pieces of fresh white flounder dipped in a light egg batter, sautéed til golden brown and served with a buttery lemon sauce. Totally YUM .. Our server, Justin was just right! There when we needed him but not hovering!

    IOC is one of the very best restaurants in Southeast Virginia. Excellence in almost everything. Our only dislike was seating by the kitchen entry/exit.
