Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

    Our waitress was very nice but we had to wait around 50 minutes for our food. I ordered the Onion soup but there was barely any liquid in it. The bread soaked all the liquids so I was basically eating soaked bread with melted cheese on top. The flavor was ok but the onion was still undercooked. The Mushrooms that accompanied the polenta were very tasty but the polenta itself was missing flavor. The pizza and the chicken was extremely good. I wish there was no pork in the Bolognese sauce. We do not eat pork so I couldn't order any of the items that has ground meat in them, not the lasagna and not the meat balls.

    Such a wonderful restaurant the food was amazing. The waiter was fantastic. It is our favourite restaurant in the city of Saint John by far.

    Very busy but a smooth operation, once we were seated, we were taken good care of , never feeling rushed, waiter was very attentive, food was served hot and delicious as always, plenty of staff on hand, great experience overall!

    We had a great experience as we usually do here! But it was my daughters first time going and our server went above and beyond for her even sang happy birthday!
