   Celebrated my mom’s 69th birthday. It was a lovely night with a perfect table outside on the patio. Our food was amazing, the service was great, and the server presented my mom with a special dessert for her birthday. The entire experience provided us with a lasting memory of an exceptional meal.

   Ribeye wasn’t seasoned well, thin, and overpriced. It looked more like a skirt steak. Seafood pasta was bland.

   My experience at Jackson’s was nothing short of amazing. I started off by running a little late, afraid that my reservation would be canceled. When I called the restaurant to advise of my late arrival. The manager informed me that he would mark me down as coming in late and told me to take my time. I appreciated the fact that there was no rush and that I could still enjoy my evening without worrying about my reservation being canceled. It was already a stressful day and evening and arriving late and missing my reservation would’ve ruined my night. I appreciate the staff being so nice and understanding. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. The food was amazing. That atmosphere was wonderful and calm and the service was exceptional.

   Overall good and fresh food. Sushi is very good, steak is okay and grouper is descent, just not anything fantastic. Good place to go for a date, just not the best food ever. View is amazing!

   We had a reservation for dinner before a concert at Amalie. We arrived early for our reservation but weren’t seated for 30 minutes. We didn’t have a server for another 15 minutes, then we finally got water and ordered wine. We ordered dinner at the same time to conserve time. We waited and waited. Our dinner arrived, but still no wine. We needed our check so we decided to cancel the wine. Then, the wine arrived. You comped the wine off our bill but we didn’t have time to drink it. We’ve never had such a bad experience there. I hope you get some staff and sort things out.

   We arrived on time for our reservation and still had to stand and wait for more than 20 minutes before being seated. There were LOTS of empty tables so we weren’t sure what the issue was…short of staff? Our server was inattentive at best and was slow to bring drinks and even after offering refills forgot to bring them. He never introduced himself by name and was seemingly disinterested in even being there. The noise level was very high and it made it difficult to carry on a conversation at our table for two. The site and location have great potential, but the lack of management left us wanting more and doubting we would return.

   Fab sushi, tuna and sea bass. Outdoor seating by the water is lovely, indoors is a bit basic with long functional tables. Recommend booking early to secure outdoor dining

    I typically have a great experience at Jackson’s. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Tampa. However my recent experience was not as pleasant. Although our server was great and very accommodating, our food had many issues once it arrived at our table. Some items were burnt and one person in our party could not finish his food due to an ingredient he asked to have removed. On top of this we still paid full price for our meal. Hoping the next experience is better
