We found food and service average. Unfortunately, we arrived 10 min before reservation and had to wait outside in the cold. My wife was not realy amused. Waiting at the bar was not offered because of our underaged daughter.

Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Be sure to ask for the vegetarian menu. I ordered the tomato pasta from there and it was delicious. My husband had the trout and he raved about it.

Over priced by about ten pounds each which is a great pity. A simple lunch 2 courses and two wines, Expresso coffee,57 pounds each 65 minutes turn around.....so let's keep the punters coming.

Beautiful space, helpful and friendly service, fab menu and the food was wonderful. Just a really nice mix of feeling a bit spesh but with the charm and nostalgia a comfy cosy welcoming pub. We took the kids and their menu was really great and they were very welcomed. The cocktails were top notch. Would definitely recommend the Sunday roast

We came from the States and were very excited to finally get to eat here. The service was so slow. We sat staring at each other for a good 30 minutes before the waitress came over and asked, “what do you want to eat?”, and never asked the temperature requested for the burger, just took my menu. Never filled up our water cups, after the first serving where she said our options were still and sparkling. So we didn’t have even know tap was an option. The meal took FOREVER. Burger was well-done. Pasta, great sauce, crunchy rigatoni, not cooked enough. Mushroom risotto too wet. We got a dessert, sponge, and it was dry. I couldn’t believe it. And when a junior manager came by to ask how it was, I was too embarrassed to say, we flew 4,400 miles and really had great expectations. Did they not see us just sitting there, looking sad? It was really disappointing and I wish I didn’t have to leave a tip, or pay so much. The meal was not worth it. I’m really sorry I ate there. I make his recipes way better at home. It was a true disappointment. We had better food at the Ritz and at local pubs.

This was our first time at the restaurant for a pre-show meal. Ambience was very pleasant, nice decor, and the staff were attentive and efficient without being over formal. My gravlax starter was delicious, as was my main 'Trevor's Chicken', similar to a Kiev wrapped in pastry. The only slight down side was my seasonal green veg was a bit tough, and the large bone in the Kiev was unexpected as it was described as a breast rather than a supreme, and it was hidden in the pastry covering. Overall a pleasant dining experience and not that expensive for central London.
