Chef Alexa Numkena-Anderson presents "Inɨ́sha," an Indigenous tasting menu and experience. "Inɨ́sha" means "My Daughter" in the Yakama Tribal Language. The menu focuses on indigenous food ways, food sovereignty, and modern takes on traditional tribal recipes. Ingredients are sourced exclusively from 'Turtle Island' and inspired by Alexa's tribal affiliations with the Hopi, Yakama, Skokomish, and Cree Nations. The menu is dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and cane sugar-free, featuring proteins native to this continent such as Wild Boar, Bison, Duck, Goose, Rabbit, and Tribal Caught Fish, excluding Pork, Chicken, or Beef. The dining experience aims to reflect the diet of the land's indigenous peoples. Dinner starts at 5PM and has one seating on Friday and Saturday nights. Modifications or substitutions will not be accepted as the menu is designed to reflect traditional eating habits. The menu is already Dairy, Gluten, Soy & White Cane Sugar Free. Dinner includes a presentation of stories and indigenous food education in a traditional stadium style. Each course will be explained similarly by a speaker. Dinners may last approximately 2 hours, depending on the chef's choices for courses. A 20-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. This dinner experience begins with a story and indigenous food education in a traditional stadium style. Each course will be explained in the same way as the other, with a speaker telling the guests. These dinners can last for roughly 2 hours.

What a wonderful meal. The mash, the blue cornbread, the elk, the bison, the frybread. All was excellent! The service was top notch, too. We will definitely return.

Our dinner experience at Javelina was incredible. We enjoyed learning about the indigenous food we were eating and hearing stories about each course before we ate it. The entire restaurant enjoyed this experience together, bringing not only an incredible dining experience, but a real sense of community.
