   Very expensive food not that graet service great i had better experience also seating area poor table moving around chair broken and 17 years anniversary and i ask for cake surprise on the reservation and nothing happend.

   Awesome ambience and altogether beautiful restaurant and drinks! If I could change one thing, it would be avoid trying to stay with the “lower priced” food items unless you’re okay with paying the price for small portion sizes. Everything’s pretty pricey so I would just be prepared to spend on the higher priced items for a larger/regular portions of food that will actually fill you up. I got the soft tacos, I’ll say for the $32 It was two small street tacos and a small portion of rice and beans was not worth it. Though pricier, next time I would definitely try going for the 12 ounce bone in ribeye. It would’ve probably been more filling with the sides included.

   We had a fantastic experience at Javier’s. The food was amazing, the ambiance exciting and vibrant. The servers were excellent. My food came quickly and it was so yummy. It’s pretty loud there, so having an in depth convo probably isn’t going to happen, but that’s ok…you can do that later when you leave! It’s a fun place to eat and hang out.

   It was a very loud party atmosphere, it felt like we were at spring break! The food quantity was smaller than child portions with Michelin star restaurant prices. Wait staff would continually ignore us. Had to ask four different servers for something until we received it and were not able to even get our server to come by until it was time for the check. Was a little surprised as we had eaten at Javier's a few times at the Irvine spectrum and they were always great but I guess what gets rated high here is a party atmosphere. If you like to party this is your place but it was not our style.

   The service was excellent and the food was good. We were seated right away at our reservation time. However the music was so loud at 6pm on a Friday we could barely hear each other at the table. The music was at club volume the entire evening. Although the food was all very tasty, it was nowhere near the quality expected for the prices charged. You can get the same meal if not better at many other Mexican food restaurants throughout San Diego for half the cost. We did try a few of their signature margaritas and they were delicious!

   Wonderful food and a very lively setting, difficult to talk over the music however, suggest a little less noise from the overhead music but otherwise wonderful

   Live across the street and love coming here. Javier’s is always a good spot no matter which location. Must say this San Diego location might be the best one I’ve been to!

   Lighting was so low, we needed to use our cell phones to see the menus as well as what was served on our plates. Music was too loud for any kind of conversation. Fish. Alaskan halibut was requested grilled. 1”x2.5” piece must have been sous vide and was tasteless. Service was good
