   We truly enjoy eating at this restaurant. It's just not beautiful in decor but the food is excellent. The drinks are exceptional. Try the Cafe con Leche Martini. The seafood enchiladas were amazing and the carnitas as well. Great service too!

   From the ambiance, to the service, the music, the drinks and the food. We were blown away! Really great restaurant. I’d love to come back to again when I visit San Diego again.

   This is a beautiful place but unfortunately, the food that I ordered was shrimp enchiladas the shrimp was way overcooked. The shrimp texture was like rubber. ♥️my Daughter ordered a short rib that was pretty good but the time it took to get our food was a very long time I don’t think I’ll be visiting this restaurant again.

   The hostess was extremely rude- my original reservation was for 6 people- I had called in advance to see if I could add one more person.. the person who answered the phone informed me that I could but I would possibly need to wait approximately 45 minutes .. I was okay with that and arrived with the 7th person .. when I checked in I informed the hostess I had arrived and we were going to be a party of 7- at the time she told me “okay” got me checked in and stated it would be a wait of about 15 minutes. I received the text to check in and walked up to inform them that I had received the text to check in .. the girl who was going to walk out party to our table with the menus asked me if it was for 6 and I said no- it’s 7 of us.. she then went back to talk to the hostess and the hostess looked at me and began giving me attitude and stated “When you checked in I asked how many in your group and you never said 7, I asked you if you were going to be 8 and you responded 6” I proceeded to inform her my party was not 8 and explained I had checked in for 7 but there was no problem and asked how much longer the wait would be .. she then proceed to give attitude and be rude and stated “since you told me you were only 6 when you checked in the table is only for 6, dinner is our busiest time and I don’t know when I’ll have another table available” I proceeded with staying “ok” she then once again spoke with attitude and stated “we can try sitting you in a booth and if that doesn’t work you’ll have to wait but I don’t know how long” I proceeded to agree with that and the rest of our experience was great- the waitress was phenomenal she did an amazing job- she was very attentive and everything she recommended was good. It was disappointing to start our experience at this restaurant so negative as we were there for a celebration. Not sure how they can have the person at the front be so rude, and condescending as that is the face of the restaurant. But overall the rest was well.

   Delicious food and drinks. Great indoor space with fire pits. The cocktails are excellent. Wish they had a vegetarian mole option.

    My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 4 year anniversary here. We were sat outside in a back corner under what turned out to be the only heat lamps that didn’t work on the patio. We spent the first 30-40 min of our dinner outside with horrible service- 15 min before our server came over, water going unrefilled for 10+ minutes, etc. I was in a sleeveless shirt and visibly shivering, and we were finally offered to move to a table inside before our entrees came out. Once we were inside, our service improved. However, no one acknowledged our anniversary, despite it being on our reservation, and the table next to us was wished a happy anniversary and given dessert. My boyfriend also found a literal rock in his food, which is incredibly concerning. Overall, the food was decent, but there’s better, rockless Mexican food and better ambiances with better service. We will not be returning.
