   As always, Jax was wonderful. The happy hour menu was extensive the wine choices were some of the best. I always feel comfortable at Jax and each visit makes me like it more. Always a good choice for any occasion!

   The food was delicious. The hostess seated us right away even though we were early. The waiter was very friendly and helpful.

   Jax never disappoints! I was even able to get a reservation same day! I got lucky cause this particular restaurant is always busy. It’s one of my husbands go to for a date. I had the salmon and cooked to perfection! My husband always gets the tuna steak and it’s always perfection as well! Try to reserve the bar area 2-top tables along the wall or else you’ll be sitting in very close proximity to other patrons in the restaurant

   Jax is an outstanding restaurant . The food and service were superb. My wife is especially picky about the freshness of fish and the way it is cooked. She raved about her Cod dish. I had a Tuna dish that was very tasty . The asparagus was notable in that thin stalks were chosen and cooked to perfection. The waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. All sauces were delicious .

   We've loved JAX for years. Great quality and unique food offerings. After spending a lot of time working in hospitality business, we know that going out for dinner on Valentines Day is risky. The menu was cut to a prix fix offering which we knew in advance, and trusted the kitchen to do right. However, the food was average. A few notes, the lobster bisque barely qualified as "lobster" flavor. The steak was tough and over cooked, not horribly, but not as expected, and the mousse for dessert was really underwhelming. So, our feeling of going out for a Valentine's dinner is confirmed. However, if you temper your expectations and enjoy the wonderful company of your Valentine, it is still a wonderful night. We are still fans.

   We just love Jax in Boulder. This is our go to date night. Often we will look around at other ideas but always default to Jax. We know that we are going to walk away feeling like we got our moneys worth. I always tell people this is a 5 Star restaurant you can wear jeans and a flannel to. The environment is so casual and the staff is always welcoming. I had Tuna Crudo that was TO DIE FOR!!!!! I whole heartedly recommend eating here.

   just a bit too expensive given the amount and quality of food (for the valentine’s day dinner). service is great though; i would suggest for anyone to go during their happy hour

    The food, presentation and service were very good. We were disappointed that at 6:45 two of the six seafood entrees were unavailable leaving limited options for seafood at a seafood restaurant.
