We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    We had calamari, and The Line Platter to share. They were delicious. The service was excellent. Heidi was our server but others attended to our table as well. We would definitely go back to eat here again.

    I’m a vegetarian who went to a fish restaurant. The choices were limited but creative. The mushroom risotto was overwhelmed by fennel instead of mushrooms. The oysters, another diner at our table, sat on a bed of salt that made their way into the oysters. That was too bad. The service was outstanding, attentive, knowledgeable and team approach. It’s a solidly good restaurant. I think they could have a few less complicated desserts.

    Everything we had (gumbo, grilled oyster, mussels and Caesar salad) was really delicious! Nice vibe and good service, with ice cold beers. Love this place!

    We had an excellent dinner at Jax-Glendale. Our waiter was prompt, knowledgeable and never intrusive. We started with oysters. We had a mix of east coast and west coast. They were delicious. We had the burrata, brussels spouts and beets salad. The pistachio pistou was a revelation. We're going to try this at home. For our entree, we had the black cod. Really good. Overall, a night to remember!
