   All Ruby's restaurants are good...but Lexington can't hold a candle to any of the Cincinnati locations. I had a reservation and I was seated in the bar area. I wanted the dining room. When paying over $300 for dinner and with a reservation, I do t want to sit in a loud bar area. Plus, it was cold because they had doors to patio open even though it was rainy and chilly.

   My first time at Jeff Ruby's. I have not dined there previously because of the higher price of dining there. I decided to "splurge" to celebrate a special birthday that I also share with my daughter. Although more expensive, the experience was worth it. The food and service were outstanding, and our waiter, Justin, made sure we felt special. At the end of the dinner he took a photo of our table, and before we left, he gave us two framed photos with Happy Birthday written inside. I'm very glad we spent a special celebration there.

   We waited over an hour for our food. Our lovely waitress kept apologizing. She said there was a party of 50 that was backing up the kitchen. Other than that we had a good experience. Food was good!

    Nice place. We hadn’t dined at this location before and it had been several years since we had patronized the location in Louisville. The filets were good but we both ordered medium. One was correctly prepared but the other was significantly more done. Consistency should be better for a $60+ steak. The sides were fine, but nothing special. The sushi roll (UK Roll) was great! We had cocktail’s before dinner, dirty Martini and Old Fashion, were very good. Well prepared. There are better places in Lexington for less.
