   Compared to other Korean BBQ places in Dallas, JOA was disappointing In terms of overall service. The flow of the service with our food, and the general customer service was lackluster. Cocktails were great and the food itself (including the quality of the meats) were fine. The eggless fried rice was cheap. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and it wasn’t overly Smokey as other Korean BBQ places can be at times. My first experience didn’t check all the boxes, but I would return in the future for another time.

   Had a girls dinner at JOA Korean BBQ and was wonderful. We ordered the Lunar New Year experience. Every course was done well, and we will definitely be going back for more. The service was also top-notch. I highly recommend JOA Korean BBQ.

   The entire experience was great. Our waiter explained the whole process and suggested great appetizers. The food was amazing and the dessert was the icing on the cake literally. We celebrated the Year of the Snake in style!

   We’ve been to JOA a few times but this was our first time having John as our server. It was an amazing night - great food - fun vibe - great service. We felt taken care of! We will be back!!!

    We came to celebrate my bestie’s birthday. The restaurant had a card waiting for her. The food was excellent. We all opted for the “Signature”. The quality of meets were great. The marinated meats delicious. The accompaniments were great! I think our favorite accompaniments were the kimchi salad. They should definitely bottle that dressing and sell it! They closed the celebration dinner with a moon pie/ice cream dish for the bestie! Great food. We will be back!
