   My nephew and I enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Joey’s Burnaby. Cassie, our server, was outstanding! She looked after us well. She was intuitive enough that she realized we were there not only there for the food but more for catching up! She kept an eye on us but was never intrusive. Her professionalism and friendly manner made for a very lovely time. As always, the food was excellent. I had a Starter salad and garlic wedge toast and my nephew had the Tuna and Avocado Crunch Roll with fries. We both cleared our plates!!! Recommendation: 10/10

   80th birthday party with 19 people! Service was outstanding and food very good! One long table would have been preferable but the benches were comfy!! Thanks!

   That 16 oz ribeye is to die for. The crispy potatoes just accented it perfectly. Of course I had the peppercorn. Salmon was cooked perfectly. If I'm not mistaken it was Norwegian farm fish. The verblanc sauce was perfect with the fish and peas.

   The Mediterranean Salad was a real treat. Lots of flavour, with rice. Another guest had spaghetti & really enjoyed that. Salmon was really nicely done as well.

   My wife and I stopped in at happy hour prior to going downtown for a show. We ordered 4 appies which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately we did not have time to stay longer due to time constraints. The staff was top notch and the food was served promptly and hot (can't be said about all restaurants that we have eaten at). I would recommend this establishment to all who have never eaten at a Joey's. Do not hesitate as I think you would be presently surprised.

   Our server Zoe was exceptional! We had the baked cod and blackened chicken both cooked perfectly. The guacamole starter was delicious and the drinks were great. Definitely be back!
